Sam Leavitt Draft Prediction

With the byeweek upon us, wanted to get your thoughts on Sam's draft outlook. Selfishly no matter what happens over next 4 games I hope he returns. I'm aware he's supposed to be a 2 year guy but you never know. Also not underestimating CK ability to get the next guy.
Guys I see coming out:
Drew Mestemaker
Darian Mensah
CJ Carr
Arch Manning
Dante Moore
Trinidad Chambliss
LeNorris Sellars
Julian Sayin
Brendan Sorsby?

No way Chambliss declares just yet

Arch needs to stay.

Think he has 10 years or something like that …

Way premature timing to ask that question. Back in 19 Burrow was not even a Heisman favorite. Too much important football left make that call.

Chambliss still has 3 years left

Judge already rubber stamped the TRO

Gonna laugh when that crooked judge keeps giving Chambliss year after year. And the SEC and NCAA can do nothing about it. But let LSU say one thing and the lawsuits start flying.

My guess is Manning comes back just not at Texas.
Moore and Sayin will be back. Too many health concerns and they will make plenty coming back to school.
Anybody that has time left that isn’t a 1st round pick I think will come back.
Mestemaker will be a top ten pick.
QBs make so much in college now it’s very hard to figure who leaves.

Need to see what Leavitt can do against the top teams. The 3 best defenses in the conference in a row is going to tell us a lot. I think he needs another year. He can go all Burrow the rest of the season and I'll still think he needs another season.

In no order who i think would be drafted before him
Manning (the name and skillset only)
Chambliss
Carr
Mestemaker
Mensah
Moore might have screwed his draft stock up. Either he comes back next year, or some teams tell his camp they are very interested in him in the 2nd or 3rd round this year despite his problematic short season.
Also saw there is a lot of draft buzz around Kiffin's former QB who is at Mizzou in Austin Simmons.
It really just depends on who comes back next year. Because even next year he has to deal with Kamario Taylor (unless something happens, it have him as the #1 overall for 2028), Keelon Russell, Braden Atkinson, and Julian Sayin.
If Carr and Arch come back though, I would leave 100%. Them coming back would make him the 3rd or 4th QB taken. If I were Leavitt, I'd wait to see what others do.

I don't think Arch or Sayin will come out. Sellers is a possibility. But, he's shown so little ability in the passing game.

Alabama is 8th in conference play in scoring defense and tied for 7th in total defense. Texas and Tennessee are near the top but Georgia, LSU, and Oklahoma are the top 3. They are the best defenses they will face in conference play, except A&M is better than Bama.

The next 3 weeks will decide that

We don’t play LSU or UGA… so???

Professional franchises don’t draft people on their names.Right now Leavitt is 2-3 . Manning the same.
