LSU has been doing that halftime for several years.

Teams like Bama, Arky, Kentucky, Tenn, and Auburn should steamroll us. I say LSU wins 6 maybe 7 conference games.
We play hard but have no depth and with Miller not scoring and other teams taking KJ out of games we have no one to score.

They walked a bunch of kids on the court. Borne comes out in a Christmas sweater and large bow tie for some reason and reads ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Finishes the story and walks away. No music. No applause. Just awkward awkward silence and disbelief

I know this wasn't entertaining for a soul in attendance, but it sure gave me a good laugh tonight. I wish I could watch video of it to get an even better laugh of the awkwardness of it all. Who the hell comes up with this shite? Was it a Borne idea?

KJ Williams is legit, and he'll play a good while in the NBA

The potential is there. He is a pretty good 3 point shooter, but he and all our other 6’ 10” guys play really small on both offense and defense. ETSU’s 6’ 8” guys dominated us inside. He has a long way to go to be a productive NBA player, but as of right now he is the only one on this team who has a chance.

I’ve laughed myself to tears just reading the description.

Just an FYI on your claim of no outside shooting threat this LSU team has the 3rd highest 3 point shooting % in the conference .

Thanks to KJ.

Neutralize him and the nightmare begins.

Presumably the 11 teams behind them might face the same potential nightmare. But we only see the wars on LSU, right? The level of Yeah, but about this team is absurd.

team is freakin' terrible

This might be an exaggeration. This team is mediocre. We have had terrible teams not that long ago.

He might get drafted or sign undrafted, but I wouldn’t expect more than a couple years of two way contracts or limited minutes on the bench. He’s a great player, but he isn’t what the NBA is looking for.

everybody else is basically a scrub. Even Miller

He has as good a chance to make the league as anyone on the team, him and maybe reed as well. Miller had significant playing time on the national u19 team.

After that game I had to admit to myself that this team is going to get slaughtered in conference play (unless McMahon has a secret playbook). It made me sad. Still hoping they will gel, stop making ridiculous mistakes, and turn it around.

We were picked 8th in the preseason and having watched other SEC teams I truly believe that's about where we are talent-wise relative to the rest and given that one would extrapolate that's about where we should finish.

However, I do not believe against that gawd-awful schedule we've played that we've played to our capability but maybe a handful of halves or 5-minute spurts.

When we get into SEC play Mwani is going to have to play some and the other Justice No. 11 is going to have to play more - we are not going to be able to compete with the big backcourts we'll see with the 2-3 small guards who have been garnering most of the playing time.

And we'll have to hope that combination jells and learns to play together quickly and then maybe we can finish around that 8 mark in the conference.

But we've played what - 9 Quad 4 teams and only once have we blown one out - every other game has looked like a bad replay - same scenario plays out every time. Need to find something fast come Wednesday.

Imo, it’s a talent gap issue. The coaching seems to be there, offensive sets are great, defensive intensity seems to be there. We just don’t have the dudes to compete in the SEC. My other concern is we don’t have a ton of dudes coming at the moment. I know the portal can change things quickly. But, Ward and Reed haven’t shown superstar freshman that they were graded to be and we only have two decent signings for next year.

I liked what I saw from Tyler ward in the few minutes he got in. he aggressively took it to the rim a couple of times which created scoring opportunities for others and he is long. I know Miller eats up his minutes but he is still not 100% and hasn't gotten that explosion back yet. Can see it when he drives to the goal. If he is not on I would give Ward some of his minutes right now to see if he can improve but that should have been done before SEC play starts. If Miller can't score more than 10 pts per game then it will be a long season. Not sure what the story is on Mwani.

Yes, I agree - this is much more of a concern than our current overall talent relative to the rest of the conference now.

Because in this day and age your most highly recruited freshman need to contribute something right away, roster turnover is so prevalent. These are our two highest rated and to this point they have contributed very little.
