Observations from tonight’s game

Whoever crafted the halftime entertainment needs to be shown the door. Absolutely cringe-worthy. Only rivaled by Rhonna Gray’s loving tribute to the Louisiana Lottery at halftime of a football game on the late 90’s. And Borne’ needs to be put out to pasture. It’s the very same situation as Hawthorne- everyone knows he’s done, but nobody has the stones to tell him it’s time.
Now, about the game. No real perimeter threat is gonna kill us in conference. We won’t be able to keep up with the top 6 teams in this league. Rebounding is lacking for such a long team. I like our motion offense but KJ is the only threat to score and better teams will limit him. I see maybe 6 conference wins. We need more talent, bottom line.

Borne’ is so boring with his announcing. No excitement in him. Makes for boring atmosphere.

There is no atmosphere right now. Hopefully it’ll get better in conference.
Man , Adam Miller is not good. He’s a liability on offense and not much of a defender. He’s taking minutes from young guys who need them. I’m sure Matt will give him a long leash to get out of the slump but it seems that this is who he is, and that is very average.

I hate to say it because I've been optimistic this whole preseason, but this team is freakin' terrible.
KJ Williams is legit, and he'll play a good while in the NBA, but everybody else is basically a scrub. Even Miller, who can't help himself and hurries the shite out of every shot (and every shot he hurries, he misses).
Hill is not an SEC point guard. He's hideous on defense.
In fact, this team is hideous on defense. You don't really notice it until the opponent realizes all they have to do is penetrate, because we don't have a single guy on this team other than Wilkinson who appears capable of stopping the ball.
And Wilkinson might as well not even be on the team because he never leaves the bench anymore. I don't know what McMahon is thinking with that decision; I get that Wilkinson does zero on offense, but when they drive past every other guy on your team for easy basket after easy basket, maybe his defense starts to have value.
And the bricklaying guards? Jesus. Not to mention we don't have anybody who can go to the basket without charging.
We're terrible at taking care of the ball, and most of what we've played is scrub teams.
I really want to believe there's a light at the end of this tunnel and they'll come together and make a run through the league. But after tonight I don't believe it. I've seen too many games with the same gaping holes and I'm dreading what the SEC is going to do to these guys.
Oh, well. It's seven weeks until baseball season and THOSE SOB's will wreck the opposition in a violent and humiliating way.

I was so embarrassed by the halftime “show” that I left my seat and walked around the concourse til it was over. Didn’t want to be accidentally associated with it in any form or fashion.

It was awful at the half. It’s time to move on from Borne.
They need red panda, or the trampoline dunking guys, quick change, even the frisbee catching dog is better that what I witnessed tonight. At least this year he didn’t do the Cajun version. That might have been worse

Borne read the night before christmas to a bunch of kids who came on the court.
Its a nide idea, but they really needed to add something else to halftime. It took all of about 5 minutes to do and then there was nothing else until the 2nd half. If nothing else, just throw out a couple guys to attempt half court shots for a prize. Or make them do the whole layup, free throw, 3 pointer thing. Its at least entertaining

Just an FYI on your claim of no outside shooting threat this LSU team has the 3rd highest 3 point shooting % in the conference .
