Former Tigers played each other tonight in the NBA and went a combined 9-10 on 3’s. Naz has one of the prettier-looking shots you’ll see from a big man.

Do we claim them since they played for Wade? I mean I thought we were erasing all games and players for that period…

No, but erasing the ones that are more so fans of Wade than the current LSU basketball team would be appropriate.

1) Naz Reid’s team went to the sweet 16

2) the other March madness teams have future nba players too, often more than the one or two on a given LSU team

Wade could recruit...
If he could only coach, we would have had something

Naz was so soft playing for us. Against physical teams, he wouldn’t even get in the paint. In his defense, he was always a guard and had a late growth spurt.
He definitely would have made a huge jump in his draft stock by coming back another year and improving his physicality in college as opposed to the G league

Naz didn’t want to leave LSU after 1 season, his dad pushed him to do it. He showed up to the combine 40lbs overweight and didn’t put a lot of effort into his workouts. It kind of worked out for him though as he was able to sign a nice contract earlier than he would’ve had he been tied to a rookie deal.

I went to the Trail Blazer/Grizzlies game Saturday night. He was by far the biggest guy on the court. A few Grizzlies players were taller, but were thin and lanky. Duop is built wider and stronger than I remembered. He looks strong and had some good rebounds were he used his size to his advantage. Last nights game was easily is best of the season. Glad he showed out playing against Naz.

this is exactly what i noticed as well.

Naz had a lot of skill, but terrible strength and balance when he was here. He ended up getting knocked to the floor several times during each game.

Clearly he's added strength and balance to go with his skills, and he's now a very good player in the NBA.

He played hard when he was here and I liked his attitude.
Kudos to him for his success.

My main takeaway from this thread is that Duop Reath is in the NBA. Good for him.

Yeah luscious, Wade is 223-99 at FOUR DIFFERENT schools with varying degrees of resources (and winning tradition) because he can't coach.

McNeese is EASILY in the bottom 10% HISTORICALLY among D-1 basketball programs, yet the guy who can't coach immediately comes in and has them 27-3.

Please keep your expert opinions flowing freely onto the rant.

McMahon and the program are showing signs of life lately, and he hopefully has us building to where Wade had us AND BETTER.

This means an NCAA berth every year, and an SEC title would be nice too. He's on the clock.
