Naz had a lot of skill, but terrible strength and balance when he was here. He ended up getting knocked to the floor several times during each game. Clearly he's added strength and balance to go with his skills, and he's now a very good player in the NBA.

Always frustrating to see the biggest guy on the court not bully people. The perimeter skills are a huge threat, but you would think they would work on their biggest advantage first. It’s like a 240 lbs running back trying to juke a DB instead of running him over.

Naz always wanted to be a 6'10, 240 lb shooting guard. Particularly early on that season. I'm sure this will start yet another fight with the mere mention of Wade, but I think the turning point of that season was the Thanksgiving tournament game vs. a good Florida St. team where LSU blew a late 10 point lead and eventually lost in OT. The reason they lost was because FSU killed LSU on the glass. LSU shot 52% to FSU's 38% and still lost! In that game Reid played 41 minutes and managed to get only 2 rebounds. Soon after he was taken out of the starting line up for a game. But from that game on LSU became an absolutely dominant offensive rebounding team, with Reid helping lead the way. He averaged somewhere around 8 rpg in SEC play. The three point attempts also decreased and the inside scoring increased. Basically Wade allowed him the freedom early on to pretend (at that time) he was a 2-guard. But after that loss Wade made Reid's big arse go inside and LSU went on a tear to win the SEC.

Reath has been scoring consistently in the 15 point range. He has not been physical on the boards. Last night, he score 26 points and got 3 rebounds in 39 minutes. To put that in perspective, the back up center got 3 rebounds in 9 minutes. This wasn't unusual, as Reath averages less than 4 rebounds per game.

Reath is setting himself up to be a role player for a long time in the league. I don't think he is starter, but a good back up who can stretch defenses.

Skylar Mays was putting up decent numbers early in the season, not sure why they cut him.

Do we claim them since they played for Wade? I mean I thought we were erasing all games and players for that period…

Duop Reath was 1 of 3 future NBA players that Will Wade inherited from Johnny Jones.

I remember him having one of the highest rebound % in the AAU circuits. I also remember him trying to play PG in the All American game and some dude picked him up full court and stripped him multiple times in a row

Wonder why Wade could win and Johnny couldn't.
Asking Ching Yuong, since Wade can't coach.

Weird there are no trading cards of Reath. No rookie cards of any kind apparently.

Not gonna lie, seeing Duop in the NBA is such a pleasant surprise. He has a great story and is a wonderful ambassador for LSU.

Your cousin said he was tired of waiting for you and that the bed was getting cold. Whatever that means.
