My favorite Jay moment was that South Carolina sec tournament game. Sitting in the stands after Milan’s homer and here comes Jay out of the dugout.
I can never get enough of this gif. I could watch Chief hulk smash that skull cap into the turf on loop over and over again.

Look no further than the fact both the former LSU President and AD were ousted, in part, because they rejected efforts to get Wade back to LSU
Don't forget about Joe Alleva

It took him a few years to ramp up his fb. He wasn't throwing 100mph out of hs.
He doesn't have to hit 104.5 mph to make an impact on a pitching staff. I'm just dreaming of the possibility of very elite talents making it to campus should they be ineligible to be drafted immediately from high school

There are a lot of unintended consequences that would come from this and the blanket assumption that it would be great for college baseball may not be entirely accurate.
Agreed. In this new era of D1 college pay to play, I suspect that the effect of this proposal passing will be hard to predict
I think players might be more likely to avoid juco and sign with teams that can provide NIL opportunities if these rules were to be put into place

This wouldve been awesome seeing Konnor Griffin playing at LSU for 2 years
Could you imagine having Jacob Misiorowski on the mound at the Box for a couple years or more?
Farewell to Rizzz. I believe you flew in to see his best outing on the season Jack. Wish the kid the best in his baseball future except when he faces LSU of course. How he regressed from leading the team in appearances on a championship team to this year's subpar results was very disappointing. Hope Rizy makes the most of his Oxford stay.

Kid comes from an outstanding home and has a terrific family. Have met them at a few games and his folks are very nice. In fact, season before last in Austin, an unruly Texass fan made my 2 year old granddaughter cry at her very first LSU baseball game and sitting next to me, Mavrick's Dad was ready to go to war with me before the fan was escorted out to prevent a bleacher brawl.

Why did Kurland want to transfer?
Too much shark humping in Florida

The pitch calling was scared last year. Defense will help with aggressive pitching calling. You will see more aggressive attitude by our pitchers.
We need a catcher to take a step forward behind the plate as well. Gotta be a wall back there and help give these pitchers confidence to throw what is called.

No more nice guy Jay
You hate to see it.....but more than that you love to see it!

Dropped balls in mits, couldn't block fairly routine balls in the dirt, etc.
That's not even touching the poor receiving/framing issues and underwhelming pitching staff management by our catcher corps.

I expect a big jump next season from Omar but then again I expected the same jump defensively from Cade this season and it really didn't materialize. We have got to get better behind the plate next season.

I'll be rooting for Troy and West Virginia I suppose.
Yes pulling for another team besides LSU is a tough thing to do but much easier for me than pulling for the rebels, longhorn, bulldogs or any other SEC team. I hope the trojans can stay hot and have a storybook ending to their season.

Skenes still stands at a ramrod position when the National Anthem is played at Pirates' games & his teammates notice it.
The fact that Skenes stood at full attention towards the flag was so evident because my seats are directly in front of the area where the bullpen used to be at the Box and the pitchers and pitching coaches stood there for the anthem.

I was impressed that other LSU pitchers also joined him in standing at attention albeit not as rigidly focused as Paul. Christian Little went on to continue to stand at attention for the rest of his LSU career and it was refreshing to see.

It is an inner view into each player's character and I will continue to cherish the memory as the country normalizes trending in the opposite direction.

Hey brother, remember Wade's rant against ULL after the game? Blast from the past, one of his most memorable press conferences.
Absolutely! I was trying to pick myself and my podnahs out in the crowd in your other video but we're sitting a good ways up on the opposite side of the benches.

The fire that man had is what this program has been missing. I reapplied for season tickets again for next season before he was officially announced. I let them go a couple years ago when I just couldn't watch the product on the court any longer. Hopefully my ticket request gets me back in the building again this fall.
