This a one game deal? Or through next season?

This is actually pretty interesting. Sign a national level deal, deal requires you to start, disclose that to coaches. If not starter after spring, then you have to leave. New kind of leverage to have a done deal before getting into portal.

Why would a major brand sponsor a backup college QB? Not complaining at all and congratulations to Nuss but this does not make sense.

Makes sense. Cheez-it must know Nuss will start next fall whether it’s for the LSU Tigers or another CFB team.

Does that mean “he’s not ready?”

Gouda for him, that cost them some cheddar to do.

Hopefully nothing bad happens while he's staying there.

It would be remembered as the "Sling Cheese Incident".

Cheez-It has struck an NIL deal with 4 players participating in the Cheez-It Bowl & Citrus Bowl.

FSU WR Micah Pittman, OU punter Michael Turk, LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier and Purdue WR Tyrone Tracy get to stay in a hotel room that the company describes as “Cheez-It Heaven.”

Yeah... this isn't that kind of NIL deal.

Imagine if Daniels signed a deal like this and gave ultimatums to coaches. The melt on here would be nuclear....

Fine by me; easier to let him walk.

But Nuss is the better QB so it's okay.

I kid, I kid, I kid.

But they are close and if Nuss stopped being a turnover machine he'd probably start.

Yeah, this team needs inexperienced backup QB's to run the show next year and go 6-6.

You have to at least see Nussmeier's ceiling is a lot higher than Daniels, right? It's why he is getting so much support on tRant. If Nussmeier would learn to throw the ball away and "play within himself" he could lead this team to an undefeated season and I'm serious.

I don't necessarily agree. Based on what? Throwing heaves down 30 and still having two turnovers?
