I feel confident Kamario isn’t going to play this weekend and his backup is a walk on kid from Jackson Prep. Y’all can rest easy tigers.

If he does play he won’t be at 100% and look like he did against Bama where he couldn’t escape pressure and use his legs.

He’s been dealing with turf toe since the end of the Missouri game. It’s not a grade 3 as he would be out for the year but it’s severe enough that it’s clearly affecting his running ability and he may have injured it a bit worse against Alabama. I do know Lebby told some boosters the week of the Alabama game that if we were playing a sun belt or FCS school he would’ve sat out

If Taylor's foot is healthy and Fluff Bothwell is healthy, State has a chance to win this.

Neither were healthy for the entire game against Alabama.

Kentucky averaged 5.9 yards per play. Take away the first run (had nothing to do with Minchie) and they averaged 4.8 which is decent but also not great and below the national average. Your comment is read like Kentucky tore our Defense up which is not really the case.

Stats are meaningless when we all watched Kentucky dog walk the LSU defense down the field at the end of the game and in overtime.

Muh stats muh stats!

Oh great another huge spread that will make us look even worse when we don’t cover, much less win the game

Doesn’t make sense that we drop so much when we lost on the last play of the game vs UK. Against Ole Miss, it came to the last play of the game. Against Kentucky it came to the last play of the game. If we are favored by 12 points over the number 16 team, obviously the polls are garbage.

Well he's out, so you're wrong. The line is 100% taking into account K1 and Fluff not playing.

In spite of what you read here, most PR models have LSU as a top 10-12 team and 8-10 points better than State on a neutral, which is what the current line reflects.

We’ll see who’s right when the injury report comes out Wednesday. If he’s questionable or out the line shouldn’t move since it’s already priced in according to you.

Also if he’s not listed at all the line should drop considerably according to you.

ETA: The above refers to Taylor. A RB wouldn’t cause the type of shift I’m referring to either way.

It’s an availability report, not an injury report.

I don’t think the line will move that much when he’s shown as doubtful. Probably 13.5 if I had to guess because people will chase steam

ESPN now lists LSU as a 14 point favorite. Apparently Kamario isn't playing Saturday. That's the only reason I can think of for the expanding spread.

Doesn't State get consideration for their bye week, while LSU was being humbled by Kentucky? I can envision them coming into TS rested and ready to rumble, and LSU hungover from Saturday's disappointment.

Speaking of Moo U, former Tiger on the roster!

AJ Swann may start for State -- Lebby said that Kamario is doubtful for Saturday's game.

Is this Swann's time to shine? He was terrible in limited action with the Tigers in '24.

The former walk-on Parker "Billy" Puckett came in when KT went down vs Bama

If you were an "everydayer" you'd know this

Interesting that Jayden "I sued UF for $12M" Rashada is running 4th string for the Dogs

Not how that works, the numbers bear out that teams coming off a bye win at a less than 50% rate, Lane mentioned this in his last presser (as did the bald one)

And I'd be VERY surprised if he can go. Also, their top rb is hurt..I think the Moo U offense will be very pedestrian.

I think both teams come out a little slow because of the damn 11 am kickoff.

The bookies' "line" isn't a prediction of the winner or the end result; it's a number that the bookies think will get half the bets on one side, and half on the other. Then the book makes money. That's why the line changes during the week, because too much money is going down on one side.
