I can understand some of the comments about the city of Starkville in general, but State's campus is beautiful and isn't anywhere near the bottom. You'd be hard pressed to find another one in the conference that is as well manicured.

These A&M fans are a salty bunch with no ball knowledge.
Kentucky is Top 3 and no amount of conversation can change that fact.
Trying to win?

It's theirs to lose.

re: Duck hunting question

From my knowledge, this isn't a Louisiana issue as much as it's a northern hunting practice result. You're seeing a lot of activity around hunters in northern states breaking up ice to create open water. Ducks fly south not because it's cold, but primarily because lack of open water due to ice sheets. It's affecting more and more southern waterfowl states. They stay long up north, making migration shorter, thus making distance covered shorter. Louisiana also doesn't get many of it's cold fronts these days until after hunting season/late January. Myself and many others deep down want the season pushed or at least accommodating the times when ducks are present. You mix all this with the pressure that ducks face in mid-latitude states, it creates a very feast or famine hunting experience in Louisiana.
TLDR: LRAs were placed on the moon by humans. Robotic capabilities could not have installed them at the time of Apollo 11.

Has two HRs on the year...both Grand Slams...both in the last two SEC games

You gotta love College Baseball.

Pound for pound across all sports, I don't think you'll find a fanbase more loyal than Mississippi State baseball. Our football loyalty is middle of the pack tbh, but only because of pure exhaustion, not because the passion isn't there.

Have always loved this picture. It seems to pop up on socials every year during Egg Bowl season. The composition is just perfect. The more you look at it, the more it sucks you into the moment.
I was at the one in Nashville when I lived there. It was fun for about an hour, mainly because of it's location on Broadway, but got old quick. It was a loser convention if I've ever seen one. Can't imagine how much worse it would be in a parking lot.

A nice casual drive up Plank Road should impresse them.
That's actually fair, but Lemonis doesn't belong on a list of great coaches like this thread implies.

I'd say Vitello and Cignetti are identical, but Cig not an SEC HC.

Bianco more like Gene Chizik

Respected coach that won a natty in spite of mediocre coaching on the backs of an elite player (Cam/Elko) with a solid core group around them.

Catching has to be better. You squeeze the mitt on 3 pitches and you win this game.
