we wore purple jerseys in the 80s and early 90s at home
the purple is just as TRADITIONAL as the white.
the shite we are seeing last week and this week is not traditional
altho if we had to pick just 1 alternate i like the W-P-W we are wearing this week. the all white is not bad either.
i think the best all white was the 2011 auburn game when we wore the nike pro combat jerseys.

These are clearly TROLLS who have nothing of substance to post to this forum so they simply bring up issues NOT remotely important to the vast majority of fans and won't be to TV viewers either.. Bet that the announcers barely bring it up if at all. Of course, the vast majority of college football viewers will be tuning in to Texas vs A&M since the winner will be in the SEC CG.

Exactly. The university and the program have been playing football since 18fricking93. Luring a 17 year old from Michigan with a uniform, well, doesn't work. Wear the alternatives 1x per year. The classic purple jersey for the rent a wins...and traditional every other time.

It’s horrible.. LSU arguably has a legit top 3 uniform in college football according to composite rankings.. Some put it as the top uniform. Why frick with it? LSU is officially a gimmick uniform program.

It was either during the Saban or Miles years that our policy was purple uniform for all non conference home games with the exception of the home opener. It remained that way up until recently.

GPG combo is fire. WPW is too. And call me, whatever, but I liked WGW also. We look good in almost anything we wear (didn’t like the PWP combo a few years ago bc of the numbers on the jerseys. Loved the helmets) if you wanna see 1 uniform combination all year, go watch your local Pop Warner team. It’s 2024. Nothing about our uniforms have been non traditional just because they weren’t the away game color scheme. Wouldn’t mind seeing an all black color scheme as well.
