How many times did the team wear Gold White Gold in the 5 games away from Tiger stadium?

ETA
White Jerseys for all games not in TS. Gold helmets and Jerseys for 3 games. SC, USC, Florida

White helmets and pants for Arks and Goobs.

Not a coincidence that there is a lot of money in those schools for recruiting? Why cut it off there? If you list the rest of the top ten, it’s mostly teams that have worn alternate uniforms. So that means jack shite.

Also one thing that gets left out is LSU's tradition is to wear the same uniform every single game. These other "traditionalist" schools at least have two different jerseys. The whole wearing white at home thing, Im done with. You can keep the tradition of wearing it most games but all the time is outdated. We have purple jerseys and the only reason we dont wear them because we had a bad stretch in the 90s. Stupid

Lsu doesnt have the money any of those schools have, they have to find ways to be more creative ways to recruit.

The only reason we wore them in the first place is bc the NCAA would not let us wear white at home from 83-94.

Ok

5. Auburn
- never wear alternates

6 LSU
- a newly appointed alternate jersey school that wears alternates uniforms more than they wear their classic uniforms at home now

7. Tennessee
- alternate jersey school

8. Oregon
- THE alternate jersey school at LSU strives to be

9. Michigan
- hardly wears alternates

10. Miami
- alternate jersey school

Ok so that leaves 6 of the 9 non-LSU schools (Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, and Auburn) that tend to wear their actual uniforms at home instead of busting out 5 wacky combos

I’d much rather a dominant program in the playoffs than worrying about uniforms.

Assuming this board is 80% male, why are men who typically don’t care about their attire suddenly fashionistas with their football team?

My Aggie son in law said today about our horrible decision on last week's uniform, " there are several uniforms that look great and should never be messed with, LSU is one of them ". Hello, uniform coordinator/ decision maker wake up. Leave tradition alone!!

They have one color and their uniforms are boring.

This board exists so grown men can bitch about what other adults do.

Yeah and the kids hate it. Their recruiting has been terrible for decades!

this is a money thing I'd assume. A little tradition isn't gonna get in the way of Nike money

It’s easy to recruit when you have the best college football coach in history. Personally, I don’t give a shite about the uniforms. I like mixing things up from time to time, but I wasn’t bitching when we wore GWG for 5 years straight. Anyway, wasn’t it Saban that brought back the purple jerseys at home after we didn’t wear them for several years? I seem to recall that decision had something to do with recruiting.

I'm talking about the G-W-G look

Why the hell wear purple against a P5 opponent in UCLA?

The purple jersey is part of the “traditional” uniform. Frankly, I wish they would wear it more

Yes and his reason was the players like a change from time to time. Kelly could give two shits what uniform we wear but he cares about the players. And as long as we are winning the fans could give a crap too. Also it’s not abandoning tradition. It’s just mixing it up

Wonder if the uptick in alternates is related to Stringfellow leaving the program.

Maybe we can have alternate coaches to go along with them.
