West Monroe opened in 1953 and that weight room was there when I was in 1987-1990. The other end was renovated to the concession stand after the baseball field was moved in 1988. That thing was a dump until Shows got there.

I have no clue to be honest but it has to be taxpayers and their booster club. I left West Monroe 21 years ago and they had the largest one in America. Thing is will all this fancy stuff bring in out of area talent like Shows used to bring in. Ruston is now doing that obviously over the last 5 years.
