Football players are not listening to anything they are pumping in the stadium. Neither are the kids who listen to rap.
I'm not sure who the piped in rap is for. Rap and Hip Hop are my favorite genres of music. That's not what we are listening to. They can't play what we are listening to.

If you go to the game to watch the teams play football and pay attention to who is playing and how they are playing who is making plays and who is messing up Then you don't notice all of the peripheral bullshite so none of that matters to me. I'll never be able to clearly hear the PA while sitting 26 rows up on the 35 yard line and I accepted and it doesn't bother me.
All of the playtime that goes on around the game makes it a fun environment and interesting but I'm not sitting there critiquing what these kids are doing out there trying to entertain us.
So few people actually watch the game. They sit there and when they hear everybody holler they stand up and scream go tigers but they don't know what the hell just happened only LSU made a play. Then they go back to their conversations with their friends.
So then they show up on this message board to complain about every little thing and how the food wasn't good and the lines were long cause they went to the football game to eat and hear the band play and don't even know what's going on on the field.
fricking "fans".

Tiger band played their first halftime song while a donor promo video blared.
Why we do this I don’t know. I understand if it’s Southern, because they’re in BR and the band is simply exceptional. Other than that, LSU band only.

The constant playing of so-called "music" over the PA between every play is ridiculous. We're there to watch a football game, not attend a concert. If the band isn't going to play, there's no need for that stupid sound clip every damn play.
The crowd was loud and into it last night. When a big, hated rival comes to Tiger Stadium, the crowd gets into it; the crap rap every play is unnecessary and off-putting.
Some of us are old enough to remember when ONLY the band played in Tiger Stadium. It was glorious.

Yall would have hated being at the game last week in Oxford. The piped in music was constant and right up until the snap of the ball when we had it.
I will say ole miss has it down pretty good, maybe Lane asked for our people to try to do the same because it does create a chaotic atmosphere for the opposing team.

I PROMISE you if a poll was taken of every season ticket holder and booster (ya know , the MOTHERFLUCKERS that pay the bills), 145% of them would say to ditch the dj, and the piped in music. MAYBE play that crap in warmups ONLY.
If I didn't LOVE LSU football so much, I would NEVER step foot in that place due to that crap.
And before you say the players love it, 40% of that crap played over the PA is calling BR, or some other bro country BS. So that claim don't fly.

It's a good thing you didn't go to the Ole Miss game in Oxford. They think they've built the best home field advantage in college football, but it's more like going to a rave than a football game because of all of the loud music and flashing lights.

I am no pearl clutcher but I HATE STTDB. I can deal with the drunks, rowdy fans, and the dj but I have my 6 year old with me. I can general get him to not pay attention to the other stuff but STTDB getting yelled out by 40k students is hard to not hear. It's trashy.

Whoever controls the video on the big screens was terrible.
Everytime we had a play that was sent to review or a close call the dude had no idea how to do a proper replay. It was laughable how bad it was

I haven’t been to a game im a couple years for various reasons, but have season tix this year.
PA announcer is terrible. Biggest gripe is that he announced the band as “The world famous (checks notes) Tiger Band!” No. It’s not world famous and it’s The Golden Band from Tigerland.
I don’t know what the hell they are trying to do with the LED lights, but it’s not working. It’s really sad and pathetic. We need to hire the guy from Bama because they have a great LED light show.
I will say that I really enjoy the coverage of the game on the big video screen. That is a big improvement from a couple years ago.
Don’t care for “ Venture Global” on the field, but I understand why it’s there.
The band is becoming increasingly irrelevant and that makes me sad as an alum of the band.
Get off my lawn.

The at-home experience gets better than TS each season. I’m down to just one game a year now. I do live in Houston so that doesn’t help

The Aggie Band ran off the field when they were done, and the Tiger Band ran on to the field instead of marching. They knew there was a time crunch and it looks like that is how they rehearsed it. So to get greeted by a TAF video drowning them out is obviously a colossal frick-up by the Marketing and Promotions dipshits and a slap in the face to the band.
Everyone keeps saying "fire the DJ", but it isn't really a DJ. It is a promotions person pushing all the buttons.
These are the people to send your constructive criticism too.
