re: Last night was awful for the PA announcer, DJ, Video Board, Replay and Marketing Team.

I ran into some fans from A&M before going into the stadium last night. They told me this was a bucket list item for them, Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. For all the reasons mentioned above, it did not deliver. It was embarrassing to see so many issues, especially the big screen out and the ad playing over our own band, after A&M’s band had just played without interruption.
I see people saying “who cares, watch the game” - and I’m sorry to say, that mentality is why our state is ranked so low in so many things across the board. If LSU wants excellence, it should have that as a necessary goal in all areas. “It was good enough” is not good enough. Raise the bar and take pride in what you are representing to everyone watching.
The university also needs to rid itself of STTDB - that is hands down the worst thing about LSU football - and while they’re at it, take steps to deter the men from selling the expletive filled t shirts out of boxes right outside the stadium. Again, raise the bar.
Let the downvotes begin.

The Aggie band's show went longer than it was supposed to. They do it every time. We should stop letting them march. Besides, there's only so many times you can watch them make a giant square and pretend to be impressed.

I don't know if the aTm band went longer than they were supposed to. If so, that might be why TGBFTL started while the TAF promo was playing. They usually get announced prior to starting.
The pregame routine does see to be falling behind schedule by about 40 seconds or so for all of the games this year. That would explain the team entrance not syncing up right as the go off the clock in the locker room

It was a really poorly put together game from the stadium ops people. Flyover was also late.

I don’t know what the hell they are trying to do with the LED lights, but it’s not working. It’s really sad and pathetic. We need to hire the guy from Bama because they have a great LED light show.
Dixon McMakin got the stadium announcer job because of connections. It's tough to follow a legend like Dan Borne, but McMakin is hot garbage. He can't even follow the script.
The LED light show is beyond pathetic compared to those of other schools. You'd have thought they would've figured it out by now. The purple lights are bad arse, but the gold lights just wash everything out. Even Ole Miss and Moo State have better light shows than we do. I heard that LSU gave MMR the job because of a kick back. Knowing how things work in Louisiana, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if that's true.

PA announcer saying the wrong names, and announcing LSU First Down when aggie had the ball.
If the student section started a STTDB chant, the piped in music would start blaring even if LSU had the ball. A few times Leavitt had to cover his ears to hear the plays coming in.
It was more disorganized than I’ve ever seen.

It's very Simple + Basic:
LSU has the Undisputed "Greatest, Most Dynamic, Electric, Energetic & Passionate" Fans in the entire Sports World!
When you've got 100K ++ of the Best Fans AND the Undeniable Fact of having THE most intimidating, difficult Stadium for opposing teams to compete in (Death Valley).....
YOU DON'T INTERRUPT, DISTRACT FROM ALLOWING TIGER STADIUM & LSU FANS FROM BEING WHO/WHAT THEY ARE!!
OTHER Schools, Teams, Stadiums need to introduce DJ's, Loud Sound Systems, Music, etc to fill the gap, add noise + excitement to their stadium environment/atmosphere!!!
Again, it is Simple/Basic Common Sense! The DJ + Music NEEDS TO STOP! Tiger Stadium is already the "Cathedral of College Sports" & THE #1 Stadium/Atmosphere/Environment (FACT) on Earth!!
LET THE HISTORICAL/ICONIC TIGER STADIUM & LSU FANS BE WHO/WHAT THEY ARE!!

A lot of people don't know or realize this, but thanks to Huey Long, LSU also has the Greatest #1 Marching Band, Golden Girls, etc. in College Football.
It is a FACT (look it up) "The Golden Band from TigerLand" is consistently ranked the #1 Band in the country!
When you've ALSO got the Greatest/Best Band.....you don't need a Damned DJ playing the same tired, stale, gay music that other schools/stadiums play!
** Tiger Stadium + LSU Fans + Band ARE the Undisputed, Undeniable #1 "Atmosphere" in the Entire Sports World!! ***

I keep hearing complaints from students about the difficulty getting tickets and the high demand for tickets. Yet the student section starts clearing out at halftime. if you’re not interested in the game, don’t order tickets. We had 2 current students sitting next to us in the boomer section who said they couldn’t get student tickets. There were probably 100 Aggies in my section on the west sidelines. . I’ve made peace with the fact that Tiger Stadium is a shadow of its past greatness. What puzzles me is I am there until the final horn, the stadium is maybe 20% full, I walk 20 minutes to my car and still sit in gridlock traffic for an hour. I complain about the DJ and piped music on the fan experience survey every week. I don’t think they even bother to read the responses.

Marcus Luttrell getting rushed off the field was criminal. If you didnt happen to catch his name you wouldn't have known anything except there was a purple heart recipient on the field.
