That and the fact that Weeks came back to LSU with the goal of turning LSU’s defense back into what it was in days past… then he suffers this right in the heart of that transition…. It sucks man.

Tackling is a misleading stat. Keys is a solid player but he isn’t Whit. There is a lot more to the position than just making a tackle.

He is most likely frustrated because he wants to win and his leaders are dropping like flies.

Well he’s under immense pressure to win and that gets way harder when your best players are injured. Quite literally one more injury at linebacker or corner and the defense will start to take a step back. We are running out of quality depth at those positions. We’d have to start playing freshmen. National media won’t be kind to him if he goes 8-4 or worse this year. They won’t care about the injuries. And a lot of LSU fans probably won’t either.
