I think they have to do this charade because they’re putting off the inevitable fan melt that’s coming when they hire Sumrall or Fisch. Literally nobody reputable is saying Florida. It’s been between LSU and Ole Miss for a week with us the heavy favorites.
Austin Thomas also helped construct our offense this year through the portal so he deserves some blame for that atrocity.

Just promote Durkin and hire Faulkner for OC. Why hire Sumrall if you don’t trust him to make hires?
That Golding stuff at Ole Miss is all cope. They would let their next head coach pick the DC.
Auburn is fumbling this. They have Sumrall if they want him. But Auburn gonna Auburn.

Yeah true…they would look dumb if they end up hiring him without going interim first. Maybe the backup plan is Drinkwitz after all.
I do think Heupel is a good coach…but would he leave what he’s built at Tennessee and is he a fit here?
By Sunday night we don’t have a coach we will most likely be shopping in the coordinator aisle. Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame all promoted their star coordinator and it worked out. I’m sure we’ll interview other coordinators besides Blake but he deserves a fair shot at the job.

I say give it to Baker on a 4 year deal and see what he can do. We have pushed our chips to the middle of table for Lane. It was always gonna be a tough situation if our deal with him fell through at the 11th hour. Same applies to Ole Miss because they probably miss out on their top replacement options if Lane leaves them on Saturday/Sunday night.

At that point, I’d give Blake Baker a short term deal and see what he can do. If he’s bad, just make another run at Lane in 2 years lol.
Yes parents always have had the right to scream like lunatics and smash things in front of their young impressionable children. This is America after all! If your kids are scared by your rantings and ravings, just tell em the real world is a lot scarier than me yelling like a psychopath.
They can suspend him and let Lane fight it in court.
Why tough? Youd figure a local guy would be happy to come back.

Amazing. Graphic shows ole miss to not upset the apple cart but he remains accurate nonetheless.
