Need I remind you that you implied the Russian has nothing to do with the war.
THE RUSSIAN COMING TO PLAY FOR LSU HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WAR!!
And it damn sure isn't espionage. I think you should research what that means.

Just because Putin is a POS does not mean every Russian is for the war or a bad person. She is a 17 yo . I seriously doubt she was a big supporter of the war.

You can confirm this? And confirm future plans or coercion? And confirm that no members of her family are willing to work for the Russian government?
Remember. Kate’s dad is not a civilian.

Well aware of its meaning.

Correct. So for the Kovals - who are actively involved in the war - it is plausible that it’s in their best interest to not have direct, daily interaction with a Russian citizen.
Again. I’m not claiming that Anna or anyone in her family is working with the Russian intelligence services. I’m simply pointing out that historically, governments have used affiliated/related parties to gain information on the ultimate target.

I’m all ears, then.

yeah, her country and probably relatives have been torn apart by an unjust war and you expect her to let bygones be bygones.
Paris Saint-Germain's Russian goalkeeper and Ukrainian defender reportedly sit next to each other on flights for away games, but are conscious not to be too chummy with each other in public due to the shitstorm it could cause back in their respective homelands. They're basically keeping kayfabe like old wrasslin' rivals.
Point being, we don't know Koval's personal feelings. She might be willing to let bygones be bygones, but is sensitive enough to the potential optics of the situation to avoid it all together. Which is understandable.

Wait. You thought I was implying Koval is having open and public conversations about the war?

Ok cool. Let’s quit recruiting Yankees to play for LSU because our ancestors may have fought for the Confederate States of America. Is that how it works?

Yeah, because you're an expert on how military operations and espionage work.

Kate Koval is a jagbag. I hate it when female tennis players like Marta Kostyuk act this way too by not shaking hands with Russian players.
Do these emo athletes not realize that Russian civilians have no responsibility for what the Russian military does?
From what I’ve seen most of the Ukrainians are complete bitches. I hope the US stops funding them and Russia fully destroys them.

Does having Anna give us a better chance of winning that having Kate?
Posted on 8/25/26 at 12:49 pm to Choupique19

Again, like I posted about Safonov and Zabarnyi at PSG, they're fine with each other by all accounts. They generally don't interact with cameras around though.
Considering how shitty both governments are, it wouldn't be surprising at all if they ordered their international athletes to avoid each other, even if they aren't "emo".

Much better. But she'll have to play most of the game now as Morro will need to play some at the 4. Fatigue and foul trouble would pose the biggest problems along with injury replacement.
But Anna is a clear upgrade on the offensive skill front- not just shooting but also passing and dribbling. She also blocks shots and rebounds and runs the floor well.
A big key- she makes her putbacks and easy buckets. Great hands.

I'm Ukrainian and Russian, I think you should get your information from somewhere reliable
I got the information I passed on from my girlfriend who is Russian and who speaks daily with her father in Russia as well as quite often to other friends and family there.
Even though that entails using constantly changing apps when internet isn't completely shut off.
A woman who actually risked travelling to Russia this spring to visit her mother dying of cancer and spent three weeks there.
Either you just have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. . .
Or, much more likely. you are intentionally downplaying the level of bullshite fake news Putin's media machine is spewing there daily with all other contact from the otside world cut off. Just like he wants.
You're not fooling anyone.
