I thought MLK taught us to judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin, or where they were born.

Sounds very superficial of Koval.

I certainly respect her feelings and wish her well.

But what aggravates me is Kim Mulkey leaves nothing to chance. She no doubt had a bunch of long talks with Kate. I have no problem with Koval feeling the way she feels, but couldn’t she have left way earlier if signing Minaeva was inevitable? Why wait until the last minute when school has already started and we likely can’t fill that position?

We gain one post player and lose another. We are back to being an injury away from being dangerously thin down low. Under the circumstances is a Joyner return totally out of the question?

She left because her country is at war with another player’s country? That’s fricking stupid.

Her father is in the Ukrainian military. I think it’s pretty understandable.

Yeah she should make her decision based on the character of her teammate. Not because of the media pushing this story.

In fact the two could have shown that they can coexist as teammates and be successful despite their countries differences.

Maybe in the end she was concerned about whatever Impact this may have had on her playing time and competition for a starting role.

Ok cool. Let’s quit recruiting Yankees to play for LSU because our ancestors may have fought for the Confederate States of America. Is that how it works?

Wow, I thought this was finally the season we'd be strong in the post. Now, we are right back to being thin at that postiion all over again!!!
This team had final four potential, but if they have to start the 17 year old at center, I see little chance of that happening........................

I love Kate but she has soft hands and had trouble holding rebounds and passes into the paint.

She is a good player and will end up in a good spot.

This might be the worst analogy I’ve ever read.

Kate’s principles are more important than LSU WBB. Wish her well.
