Technically he's a dead man right now. He just so happens to be DC. The d will not improve under Pelini. O had an opportunity to raise LSU to an elite level for many years and he blew it. His post game statements ring hollow now. Nothing wrong with being a CEO style of coach but you can't screw up your coaching hires.

If O was smart he would promote Raymond and use Bo to hold his earphone cables. That way Raymond could audition for the job then O and Bo could save face by letting Bo be seen on the sideline.

Wish I had faith enough to say yes... But exactly what do you change? Scheme? Its been garbage so far... Players? They just get younger and less experienced the more you go down the list...

Well older and more experience looks like complete dog shite.

Younger and less experience can't do any worse. They would at least give effort. And you can't get experience on the bench.

Maybe...we’ll see how Steve does against a D with a pulse. That’s been his Achilles heel in the past.

Who is this D with a pulse?

This is an ignorant thread....Our first time starting QB is averaging what over 370 yards and 3 tds a game averaging a 3.5/1 TD/INT ratio and a Rating of 150+....with far less talent in every position other than maybe TE
LSU fans are pretty ignorant and idiotic most times. It’s spot on.

I hope he becomes an NFL Head Coach one day, but I would be surprised if he got the keys to the ship after 1 year as an NFL coach. I know he spent time with the Saints before his year at LSU.

So our ppg were 2010 29, 2012 29, 2014 25, and 2016 28.

With Ensminger we are 38.7 ppg this season, 47 ppg last season, and 32.5 in 2018.

Please actually look up something before you run your mouth next time. Ensminger is our best OC this decade.

O line has a few issues but it is essentially a new unit so it will take a little while to gel. The biggest issue is not having a $1 RB settled as of yet. Remember that Clyde was not CLYDE until last year....2 years ago Brossette was #1.

The biggest issue and it really is not an issue is the bonafide #2 wide receiver. #1 is Marshall, this week #2 was Boutte, at Vandy it was Kirklin.

I didn’t want to be right when I mentioned that after Joe left for Carolina.

Different Teams and totally different players. Can't compare the 2019 Tigers to the 2020 Tigers. Especially after all what was lost to the NFL draft. Though the 2020 Tigers aren't up to expectations for sure.

Mississippi State is statistically one of the best defenses in the SEC right now.
no context.

They’ve played only 3 games, 2 against bottom dwellers. Stats, this early in the season, are meaningless.

Best of luck to you on making O step outside his box to do that... It's just not him. Woodward would literally have to force his hand to make that happen.

I would think staring down the barrel of a losing season would do it, but if not, that’s even worse. Are you saying he would rather continue to embarrass himself and the program almost every week than go outside his comfort zone of old friends and find some great assistants?

Sheesh.

We’re just trying to keep Joe Brady’s offense together but all of E’s deficits from 2018 are showing. Bad 3rd down offense. Bad Red Zone offense.

Weren't we like 40% on third downs and like 87% in the red zone in 2018?

Our Rez Zone TD% was 51.67%

Good for 119th in the country.

That’s dog shite.

Joe Burrow was the leader of last years team and without him regardless of Joe Brady we would not have been National Champs. Joe Brady was just another ingredient to the success of last season.

Why did an NFL team hire Kliff Kingsbury but not Dabo Swinney?

Umm. Dabo has been mentioned MANY MANY times as NFL HC including Houston right now. Deshawn was his pupil...
