Do you think there will still be idiots here that believe Ensminger was the real OC last season?

Imagine being one of those still thinking Ensminger was the real reason for last year

Why does an NFL job validate anything?

Kliff Kingsbury got an NFL head coaching job after getting canned from his alma mater because he couldnt win.

Theres a difference between Kliff falling upward and Joe going from paperpusher -> PGC for GOAT -> NFL OC -> NFL HC in 4 years

Team effort

I can't imagine believing that a guy with no prior offensive coaching experience built the greatest college offense ever all by himself in one offseason with many players who would've been regarded as spare parts.

Has the offense been the issue?

You guys act like we are in the I putting up 17 points a game.

He is certainly capable of installing an offense at the college level and would be an upgrade over what we have now. Without Brady to show Ensminger the way there is no telling what the offense would look like

Whats the difference?

Burrow's current head coach is another good example.

They're all young, offensive minds which is what every team wants right now.

The offense didn’t give up 40+ points. The offense has a few issues right now, but If we had half a defense, everyone would be talking about how good the offense has been despite the talent lost.

Maybe...we’ll see how Steve does against a D with a pulse. That’s been his Achilles heel in the past.

The point remains despite Joe’s career trajectory there’s still a segment of this fan base that truly believes Steve called the shots last year. Why didn’t Steve become one of the highest paid OCs in professional football then? Why isn’t Steve in line for head coaching gigs ?

I'll take what we're getting on offense right now considering we only returned two starters and Deculus is pretty average as a returning starter.

Mississippi State is statistically one of the best defenses in the SEC right now.

Why did an NFL team hire Kliff Kingsbury but not Dabo Swinney?

Brady had a big impact no doubt, but E isn't the problem... look at the offense stats. 3rd down and RZ is our Achilles heel this year... that's on Scott Linehan the PG coordinator who makes those calls(another TERRIBLE hire by O by all accounts). The biggest problem I see is our coaching staff is a bunch of old white guys past their primes. And before you say race shouldn't matter, it does to recruiting.

Nick Saban is an old white guy.

Dabo is a middle aged white guy.

Kirby is a middle aged white guy.

The offensive line is bad and getting no push thus we cant run on the early downs which leads to third and longs.

Very easy to defend the pass in the redzone if LSU cant run the ball on a four man front.

Did I say HC or whole staff? And I'm not just talking position coaches. Analysts, too. And again I'm not speaking just on race, age plays a factor, too.
