How did Pyburn get cut again?

The guy had 4 sacks in 2 games, right? How does that not play?

NFL doesn’t care about preseason games. Practice and joint practices are far more important.

The Bucs said they have too many edge/olb rushers or something returning that they have under contract. I assume there was more that went into it meaning who it was against and how they need to build their roster. You might argue then why did they have him to begin with. Well in case maybe someone got injured or he really went off. I'm not sure, but the main takeaway is that they were kind of already set.

Coaches are stupid people, evaluating talent is really hard. They get it wrong all the time, and they’ll tell you that if you ask em.

Preseason stats mean dick.
Most teams are playing their reserves and vanilla schemes. He obviously wasn’t performing up to par in practice and camp.

He could barely muster a tackle for us last year so IDK how he’s getting sacks in preseason.

He really didn't have much of a chance to make the team to begin with. Practice squad, maybe but he was most likely a camp body.

Yea, I wasn’t very impressed with Pyburn last year. I’ll be excited if Harris and Wright come, but I’m pretty meh on Pyburn. He will be much needed depth though I guess.
