Nah. What’s ignorant is responding to hard facts with personal insults.

Drink is no better choice than potential candidates at G5 schools, coordinators ready to move up.

Maybe Drink could do a lot better at a better program with more talent - but why does LSU need to pay up to find out?

Let’s take that gamble with a cheaper hire.

Or gamble on a big name with highest ceiling.

Drink doesn’t fit either of those.
Ok. I’ll play.

Who would you go get them?

I said it weeks ago … WKU is 7-2. They are not an easy out.

This Freeman to LSU seems odd.

Freeman is not coming here. LSU doesn’t want him to come here.

I don’t think Freeman would appreciate the “swagger” that LSU teams are so famous for.

Can you imagine how he’d have reacted if he’d been coach when JJ and Chase were here?

Freeman seems humble and reserved. LSU is not.

Florida’s confidence is not a reliable predictor of future results for decades now.

Yep. Imagine … 18-20 years old, the fricking heat, weight room, coaches droning on and on, all season long ….. get to play some other team in a different uniform …. You’d just let it go and play. Hard. Especially against a scrub.

If LSU loses to W Ky …. SMH.

Surely we’re not THAT bad. Surely.

re: Hiring a consulting firm?

Posted by p226 on 11/14/25 at 8:12 pm to
I do it everyday, too.

Reason why worthless consulting firms make so much money is because there’s no end of ineffectual clients that can’t get shite done without em anymore.

“Provides lability and CYA” - LOL.

Go back and reread that. What does that nonsense even mean. I don’t think you deal with consulting firms everyday.

MVB won't be the QB at LSU next season, so this is an opportunity for him to generate interest in potential transfer destinations. The next coach at LSU will bring a proven starter. LSU didn't go down this road to go cheap on the roster next season.

This is all hope. You HOPE this will all happen.

I don’t trust that these “interim’s” will do any of this.

Normal people in those roles would do those things in normal times. But ……

Nobody cares about soccer.

I’m not suprised. Why are you?

I was MORE suprised when Penn St and Texas made the CFP last year, than them not making it this year.

Whaaaaat? frick that.

He’s been playin crappy all year long because he’s playing hurt.

But now tthat he coach is fired, and games don’t mean as much …..

Nah. If he doesn’t play out the season, he sucks.

He needs to stick it out, be the starter, play the rest of the games. For better or worse.

I fail to see how anyone can conclude he is anything remotely approaching a "lock" to deliver something he never has before in almost a decade of Power conference football coaching.

I couldn’t agree more. I think Kiffin is a very risky hire. He could be truly great at LSU. Or he could be another Ed O/Brian Kelly type failure. He’s not a “lock”.

No way man. I’m WITH you on this. And I don’t understand why anyone would disagree.

A 74 year old man was ALWAYS too old for this. But, now? With NIL and the portal? Coaching staff has to scout the entire team twice a year now to know who to replace cause they’re leaving, and the portal for new players.

It’s crazy.

What are you 20? I thought your generation has phones and Internet. GO LOOK IT UP!

it’s was a children’s television show on LPB. Had a bunch of toddlers in a day care, some lady talking and showing cards, teaching you how to count and read.

How about your team actually GO to the playoffs first. Then go again. Maybe win something.

THEN you can get up on your cross and whine that the “people in charge” are persecuting you.

Oh, and since you’re new to this - tell the gay milkmen to stay home for the playoffs.
