I’ve been sitting in 243 since the 90s and this was the hottest game since we played the Aggies with a noon kickoff.

Hotter than the last time we played Auburn in Tiger Stadium at 2:30 because everybody at CBS Sports deserves to die? It was 90 degrees on Saturday at kickoff. It was 91 in 2015. We were sitting East Lower, and it was fricking miserable, but at least we got SOME shade before the game ended. East Upper got no such reprieve. People were falling out left and right and EMS had people lined up sitting against the ramp in the concourse with icepacks on the backs of their necks and were starting IVs for the worst ones.

frick CBS.

Thanks for the shout out, but the trophy goes to my wife, she sat with me the entire game in section 412. NO PICS

I was watching the game, she was watching the shade line creep ever so slowly toward us.

Great Game! Great Atmosphere!

Let’s cut the academic budget some more and put a big aluminum awning over TS.

But If F King is reading this, I’m only kidding.

Yes it was. The stress from the heat involved more than just the air temperature. Any cloud cover is one factor and the temperature of the stadium itself which has more to do with the weather in the days leading up to the game.

It was hot, but not as uncomfortable as the Auburn game in 2015. Plus, we got a little bit of shade at the very end.

Heat was brutal in our section. The combination of the blasting sun and the 20-0 deficit got rid of most of the douche bag fans who were cursing the team and coaching staff in the first quarter. By the time the comeback started, it was a thinner but much better crowd. I was proud to be there.

306 row 34 & 35
There were 8 of us, screaming like animals

You're welcome
We were in 553. We ducked into the AC at halftime. Good god what relief. There were tons of people in the AC throughout the game and not in their seats. Adults! Pussys

'Preciate it. Halfway, at least. We left at halftime, but the GF looked about to fall out with a heat stroke.

But she cried later before we even won because she was sad she made us leave. She needed a nap lol. We still have the sunburns to show for it either way.

And it looked miserable from my cool seats on the West side

Have a down vote from a season ticket holder in the Northeast corner (no shade, all game).

(but I moved to seats in the shade...)

Every time a network wants to put a TS game on afternoon kickoff they need to move the pressbox to the East Side. That shite will end quickly

and make F King Alexander and Joe Aleva sit in section 243. That section was in the sun for the entire game.

LSU admin needs to grow a pair and refuse to have a kickoff time before 6PM until after November 1. Put LSU on ESPN2 or the SEC network for the night game.

CBS can pick another game for the afternoon kickoff.

CBS is probably not going to pass on a LSU Florida or an LSU Auburn game. Too much money

Sat on the northeast side. With the exception of a few glorious moments of cloud cover, we were in the sun for the entire game save the last 2 mins. I didn’t think I’d make it to the end of the first quarter... but made it through the alma mater. So glad I stayed. Everyone around us stayed as well. Worth every second.

Ps. Shout out to the pregnant lady in the front. No clue how she made it.

My pleasure. I never leave the game. Ever. But at the end of that 1st quarter with the sun beating my face. . .

In 411 a lot of the non season ticket holders left like halfway thru the first quarter. The season ticket holders around us who we see every home game stayed the whole time. It was brutal but the fireball and whiskey snuck in helped. The only game I remember that compared to the heat of this game was Florida 2013.
