His roster at Ole Miss turns over 60-70 % each year and yet he is wrong for leaving for what he thinks is a better situation? If you think changing jobs is always and only about money you will lead a long miserable existence. You also have to understand he has obligations to Sexton when he signs up. What Lane gets will set the price for all the other coaches not named Smart or Day.

Well he did say those 10 year $90m contracts were ridiculous and he has led us in this search and we will give out a 7 year $90m contract. His ability to lead is impressive.

This attitude is what made USL great for 40 years. They always tried to hire a coach no one else would want.

re: If this was a top 3-5 job before Landry’s comments, where does it rank now?

It was the top open spot. It’s 3rd now at best.
He always played the one that boosters paid over a million dollars to have on the team.

Well since Kiffen admitted on national tv he makes coaching decisions based on point spreads and total points I’m not sure if his motive will be to win.
All I remember is the sore arm from the shot. Not much else but it will definitely be sore a fee days.

re: Corn Lobby already whining about Costs changing to Pure Sugar vs HFCS.
Posted by agdoctor on 7/18/25 at 1:53 pm to DustyDinkleman
Most of the sugar consumed in the US is imported from Mexico and South America. World market price is around 16 cents per pound. The import tariffs raised the price US farmers get to about 38 cents last year. The more sugar we use the more revenue from tariffs. Of course the sugar league will tell you sugar isn’t subsidized but the consumer pays the tariff. Trump wants to raise revenue.
