My wife bought me a full length cashmere trench coat (Cole Haan) at an estate sale. It’s heirloom quality.
The same sale produced 2 Italian suits and 2 pair of Italian leather shoes (I think they were Ferragamo) which all fit my son who had just graduated high school . 1 year at LSU including 1 semester in the DKE house and none of it was ever seen again.

I vote Lakeview, but I am biased.
With unlimited income and no worries of being inconvenienced because you don’t have to be anywhere, Audubon Place, St. Charles, anywhere adjacent to Audubon Park. I’m sure there are extravagant penthouses in warehouse and downtown areas as well.

With a long wheelbase vehicle it is the only way to get into a typical parking spot many times.
Ever use a pallet Jack or forklift? There is a reason that the wheels that turn (laterally) are at the back not the front of these.

It’s really fricking easy: twice as much liquid as rice. Boil off the water until level with pot contents, lower as low as possible and cover. Don’t open for at least 20 minutes… longer if a bigger pot. That’s it.
And medium grain… period. Long grain Mahatma means you’re not a cook. Don’t even get me started on par-boiled (zatarain’s) rice.

There was a family friend that would frequently show up at my grandparents house for Sunday meals and holidays, etc.
I found out in my late teens that she was almost assuredly an illegitimate child of my grandfather. Her “father” was away at war when her mother conceived and gave birth. It was just an accepted and unspoken thing.
On my wife’s side, my SIL got real into ancestry and whatever23, and DNA evidence says that their great grandfather couldn’t have sired their grandfather. Another WWII love child. All came from the bastard.
People have been getting jiggy wit it forever.
