I don’t get it either, but I must say that I use the griddle on my Viking range much more than I expected.
I even use it like an extra burner and put pots on it when I want a super low temp or just to keep something warm.
That being said, I have no interest in having one on my porch. I guess maybe I could try Japanese style teppanyaki.

I’ve been having snowballs all over New Orleans for bit and finally made it to Hansen’s and it truly is in a league of its own.
It’s 92 years old, still has no A/C, and is the best at the craft.
I lived in Hawaii for a year, and Hawaiian shave ice does not even make the competition. Shave ice is barely finer than crushed ice, like you get at the neighborhood little league park (along with Tigerblood).
Oh, and Wild Cherry with evaporated milk.
I also like Dreamsicle (tastes like the old “push-up”), but Hansen doesn’t routinely have this flavor.

1992 - a little more than $40k, which was fine, but with a little bundle of joy on the way, pretty tight. The SO was making about $30k, so we were fairly comfy.
