Regardless, if Nuss leaves we can find an equally capable QB in the portal who would jump at the opportunity

Are there schools with no other scholarship QBs on the roster? Who are those?

Enjoy your one irrelevant year you get with Myles Brennan lol

It was going to be an irrelevant year for whoever is QB bc Walker will be the starter in 2023.

Walker and his father have both said they want him to redshirt a year to put on weight and muscle before competing in the SEC. He is not starting next year unless we have no other options.

And sorry, yes I’d prefer 3yrs of Nuss over 1 guy that didn’t want to play at LSU anymore. You’re setting up a toxic QB but I guess you will have to see it to believe it

Regardless of Brennan coming or not, Nuss still had/has to beat out Howard. The only difference is that battle takes place a year from now rather than immediately.

Are you not getting enough attention at home or work that you have to play contrarian on this topic? Not a good look and your argument has been proven incorrect three times, already, yet you keep plugging away.

Classic Lester. Hang back and see what most people think about something. Then swoop in and say the opposite.

like Myles Brennan just did?

Brennan has one year to play, so it's now or never. Nussmeier has at least three years to play, if he actually wants to compete for the job with Walker Howard.

Big difference in their situations. Brennan stuck it out year after year and competed. If, as you suggest, Nussmeier isn't up to that task, so be it.

walker howard steps on campus in a few weeks.. he could be the starter come spring

Even his dad said he needs a redshirt after his injury.

Seriously? Nuss is one good hit on Brennan away from being the man. Brennan has yet to start for more than a handful of games in a season.

I think it makes it imminent that either Nuss or Howard are transferring now but it won’t happen until after the 2023 season.

Nah. Just treat every kid that wants to leave the program like you have Myles Brennan

Nice false dilemma.

Also, if Nuss leaves because Myles came back, he was likely always going to leave.

He has a ways to go as a QB. He won’t be ready next year, and he’s obviously petrified of Howard.

We only have one healthy QB on schollie headed in to next year. Howard may not be ready.

If not Myles we were gonna get a portal guy.

Your take is ludicrous.

The nicest thing I could say about LE’s take is it’s really lazy.

If all the kids who decide to transfer have stayed around for five years and competed for the job, only to have that starting job derailed by injuries, I assure you they will be accorded the same respect as Brennan.
