I know, I was kinda being tongue in cheek.

I just don’t see any reason Brennan coming back should effect Nuss sticking around. I also think Nuss sees Howard starting the following year as a forgone conclusion.

Did you say the same about Myles when he left?

Can't believe you are calling Myles Brennan toxic.

The situation can be toxic even if kid isn’t.

Not saying it won’t be, but it has the makings of it

Entering the portal isn't leaving FYI, but yes I did. He gave LSU everything imo, and I didn't blame him for wanting to get out from the shite show we had going on.

ETA: Also, Nuss hasn't earned the respect that Myles had be staying here through multiple coaching changes etc. It's not very comparable imo.

If Nussmeier decides to leave, the portal door is pretty easy to find.

Damn! Nuss, with no chance to compete on and even field, is already taking Myles spot as the favorite whipping boy.
I thought the 2nd team QB was always better.

whether nuss eventually transfers or not, i think its in nuss' best interest to get developed and learn under BK for at least a year and see what opportunities then presents itself and Nuss compete with Brennan and Howard for time being.

Why on earth would Nuss consider transferring if this wasn’t the case?

Jesus Christ.

If he doesn’t want to compete and earn his spot what good is he?

And if Howard beats him out is he just supposed to piss away his remaining eligibility as a back up because "he made a commitment"?

Brennan should have started the last two years for us. Back up QB at LSU outside of Burrow being here isn't exactly pissing away your eligibility.

Doesn’t matter. He’s going to leave because a guy with one year of eligibility that’s played in 3 games over the past 2 years is coming back.

Again, how many schools are open for him to transfer with ZERO scholarship QBs on the roster? This is what makes the whole attempted "point" here idiotic. There's literally no alternative where he will be "anointed" as the starter the second he walks into the locker room. Certainly no school of substance.

Maybe after 5 years you will understand the transfer portal. Especially the affect it will have on QBs

Nuss is a dog. Walker is very good but i wouldn’t be surprised for one bit if Nuss keeps him off the field for a year or 2.

Just get them all in the same room and see what happens

If you mean Nuss will now be transferring I'm saying that if he doesn't play in the Bowl game he needs to transfer anyway.
Coach K is all about committment and even if he never says anything about it the players are not going to follow a leader who chose not to go into battle with them--though he could have played--but the next season says OK now I choose to be your teammate/leader. No frickin way. If he doesn't play he needs to transfer. Would you follow that dude LE?

Yep probably so. But as long as Walker stays healthy we will be in great shape.
