Top 10 rookie making more than some pro bowl vets is marked already.

Yeah, but every team he goes up against in or out of division/conference for the next several years will rejoice in his failure should that happen. Just a stupid thing to even think about not to mention letting it out of his pie hole.

Let's face it, if the statement came from a Bama back, he would be crucified on one or more of the forums here. Stupidity seldom goes unnoticed, but sometimes it is overlooked for the wrong reasons.

As opposed to hoping their opponent succeeds?

People really need to read what he actual said. He didn't say anything crazy. People are making way too much of this.

Even the sports people out here didn't think much about his comments. These are the same guys that are usually very critical of players that say things they shouldn't. Espn looking for a story is what happened here. Meh

Except it was originally an NFL.com story...

This is 100% correct, without question. A lot of blind loyalists on this board, incapable of finding fault with a guy just because he wore our jersey.

I know - they were going to let him score as many touchdowns as he wanted and rack up one 100 yard game after another. Now they're going to try and stop him. Bad move Leonard. Bad move.

Yep, now they'll hold him to 3yds in a cloud...instead of GIVING Him 5yds at a time. #NFL #$$$

He averaged 3.5 yards per carry,
Bottom line is he shouldn't have said this, at least wait until the real games begin and the vets start hitting for real. Dumb mistake, he'll learn.

People are obsessing about the average. He had several short yardage carries and was effective in moving the chains.

He looked damn good. The stats definitely don't tell the story.

I'm still surprised at the people refusing to read his actual comments.

They are bashing his comments on just about every sports talk radio show I listen to. How can one not see his comments were kinda reckless? I love LF. I hope he tears it up in the NFL. But bottom line, he shouldn't have said that. He now has an even bigger target on his back. You're in denial if you disagree.
