Are you suggesting there's a network that doesn't do this???

O has proven he’s a house of cards. I’m sorry. I suspect he wakes up everyday and wonders “how did that happen?”
The simple facts are he likely wont ever get another power 5 job when we let him go. He’s a PR nightmare and is failing in the CEO role. The team is soft because he’s adopted the west coast style of practices etc. He’s supposed to be this great recruiter and yet we have massive holes in areas this late in his time as HC.
He hires guys without interviews or hires guys that have never done the job before and are struggling to get acclimated. It’s just a landslide of problems to overcome. He can tell his grandkids he beat the greats. I’m happy for him but he is asleep at the wheel.

Agree with everything you said. The house of cards will completely fall when the players quit on him…it’s just a matter of time.

Question : would any winning coach want this job ? You want too improve your job not take a worse job . Coach O well look at Ole Miss .

I have no issue with Napier, but I think woody wants to make a splash…i think he will do everything to get a power 5 coach.

Napier to LSU as a head coach is a no-no.

Honestly, this is typical of any Sun Belt game. I was commenting on this last night at half time. Half time of ESPN Sun Belt games is always spent talking about SEC school, usually Bama, and their upcoming games. I know most people don't give a shite about the goings on in the Sun Belt, but if you are showing a Sun Belt game, maybe you should report on the conference.
As for UL fans, they know what they have in Napier. They know this is only temporary. What they hope to get out of him before he leaves is to become the next Boise St. The region is so deep in talent that a small school like UL could establish itself in the same manner, especially through the portal.

Just like they talked about Herman to LSU

In prep for the game they’ve been interviewing ULL and trying to find the pulse of all the goings on, which probably includes reading messages boards which have been talking about this exact thing.

ULL looked better than any tiger team I have seen in the past 12 months.

Oh shite. Another "He's one of us".

Look Napier turned down that Auburn job for a reason. No way a coach says hey I’m ok where I am at making multiple times less money unless he has something else lined up. Whether that is the LSU job who knows but he and his agent have some sort of a plan.

But the Rant says Scotty only gets the best and LSU can get any coach they want!

Hope not. Offensive coordinator maybe but not HC.

Napier makes 2 million a year at UL. Are you seriously saying that he wouldn't come to LSU for double or more his current salary?
Money will get a quality coach to LSU...

Woodward is going to go after someone big. Napier won't even be looked at.
Napier is big. He's already turned down multiple SEC jobs and has been a big school target the last few years. He seems to be waiting on Alabama or LSU to open up.
Sure you kick the tires on Urban Meyer, Hugh Freeze, Lane Kiffin, etc. but Napier is one of the bigger up and coming names, if you dont want a retread or cant poach somebody from a big school.

My understanding about the SEC jobs he turned down is that he wanted more control than schools were willing to give. More say of assistant and analyst hiring, as well as better salaries. He believes in the Saban model of having as many non-coaching personnel as he can get. The low budget at UL means these are mostly GAs, but at an SEC school he wants an army behind him. Some schools just aren't willing to spend that kind of money.

It's a nationwide broadcast. If it was an sec game they would talk about other conferences also.

I think Billy Napier is the current leader for the LSU job.
Jimbo will get the call first. But he’s getting to old (55) to start over again.

I've watched about 10 ULL games over the last 3 years. The man is obviously a good coach but he does some really wreckless shite as well at least once in every game I've watched. Stuff that leaves you speechless like calling for an onsides kick when they're up and it surprises no one giving the other team 50 yards to score and a host of other shite that I could go on about. He mostly gets away with it in Sunbelt but would be eaten alive in the SEC for that. Honestly, I'm not sure he's dialed in enough for a grind year in and year out of major Power 5 parity play. Think I would rather us look in another direction.
Even last night he called a run up the gut on 3rd and 14 when ULL had the ball at midfield. It was stopped for 2 yards. WTF.
