All of this talk about coaches who already have jobs filling a vacancy that doesn’t exist and all that I can think about is how sick all of those ULL fans must be that the commentators on THEIR game spent half of a quarter talking about LSU. ??????

I agree. I think it is slightly distasteful as well. I did not watch the game though, so I am going off of y'all's comments. Let the season, especially early on, play out a bit.

Maybe we could get Saban, Dabo Sweeny, Dan Mullin, Lane Kiffin, Lincoln Riley or Jumbo Fisher. Oh damm wait a minute our current head coach beat them all.

Never mind.

Well genius, based on that sage logic Gerry Dinardo is a better option than Nick Saban. You know...being he beat Saban by 21 points.

No. By actual facts Ed Orgeron has gone up against the best coaches in College Football and won. Not just 1 game but many. There is the difference as well as you comparing Orgeron to Dinardo is also ridiculous.

The truth is (whether many of you bitchers like it or not) that LSU lost almost 2 recruiting classes (39 players) after 2019. It takes a while to recover and rebuild after that. Then it was followed up by Covid and LSU lost a Spring and most of a Fall to get players (many who have never played and were green) ready. I guess many of you wizards think players can learn without practice. Well genius they can’t.

At the end of the 2020 season LSU had 53 players travel to Florida and some of them were walk-ons. I don’t understand what some of you don’t understand.

Now you dumbasses can downvote all you want but you are still stupid.

Wow. You are one stupid person. Seriously.

I’d recommended not posting any further on the topic…..your hole is already deep enough.

Nothing works without controlling the los. The UL backs looked really good.
Not completely sold on Napier. Gotta see a little more.

See. I actually get the dynamics of college football. Lived it from the field and office.

You point to these items yet completely ignore the fact that O is alone compared to his peers. I can point to one recent example that holds your angle: 2010 Auburn

You are aware of how that played out? The Chiz had his lightening in a bottle as well.

And, O beating Saban……one time. One. How many other boat races did Saban lay on him?
He’s played Dabo once and it was also during the same singular year. Know why? Because he never sniffed the opportunity (playoffs) ANY OTHER TIME. On Jimbo, how many times has he won? I believe aTm is 2 of 3 for the moment. The same dude who just went 9-1.

Can we discuss the coaches he’s lost to? Pirate put an historic arse whipping IN TIGER STADIUM on his arse just last year.

And, we’re dumbasses.

My man, you’re another one who should stop digging a hole.

If Napier ends up at LSU, I'm going to vote to replace Woodward.

If Woodward brings in Napier, it would be a homerun hire. He has literally built a program that consistently preforms above their talent level and has made it into the top 25 for the first time in their history.

People who don’t want Napier are fricking retarded.

I also think Napier is about to blast off. He’s earned the keys to a fancier car no doubt.

But, I am greedy. I want flash. I want legendary status. I think LSU deserves the best of the best. That may be Napier, and if he came on board, I wouldn’t be sad.

People have this illusion that the “best of the best” has to come from a major program. Well, the best of the best are Dabo and Saban. Only 4 other schools have won the CFB (OSU, Clemson, Auburn, Bama). And Clemson or Bama have been in all but two championship games.

I say that because the “best of the best” are not leaving their current positions. LSU is NOT a place to be a first time HC, so you go after guys who have proven they can build a program. To me, that’s Napier, Fleck, and Fickle. Those are the three names we should be talking about. Not Brady, not Urban, not some other obscure name coordinator in the NFL.

Wtf are you talking about and where did I say he would turn down lsu? My response was to the person that said Napier needs to coach at a mid tier power 5 school before lsu should consider him. Of course he takes the lsu job if it’s offered to him. Try reading before posting out of your arse.

You will attempt to justify your opinion(and that is all it is) by ignoring the greatest season ever in college football history just as you ignore the fact that LSU players had a mass exodus after the 2019 season.

Orgeron is still dealing with the loss of 41% of the roster after 2019 but that is the fact of the situation. You also ignore the fact that Orgeron built the 2019 team. It did not build itself.

You simply live in some delusional state while I live in reality.

LSU lost a Heisman QB
LSU lost a 1st Round RB
LSU lost a starting TE
LSU lost several starting OL
LSU lost 2 1st Round WRs
LSU lost a starting Safety
LSU lost LBs
LSU lost 2 DBs
LSU lost 2 DLs

Then LSU lost many players who chose to leave early as Juniors who should have come back.

This is what the situation was and what LSU has to deal with whether delusional nuts like yourself understand it or not.

but literally any other coach on the planet could have done the same exact thing with the talent and support staff that O had.

That’s weird. Saban and Dabo had excellent talent and support staff in 2019 and they didn’t win that championship.

My pleasure will be listening to the same ignorant clowns who helped cause this whine and moan about why we are losing in state kids to other SEC teams

We’re already losing in-state kids to other SEC teams with O as our coach.

O has the fans feeling to beaten down and dejected that they’re acting excited over the prospect of hiring ULL’s coach
