I take this as, they can’t legally vote them out currently, they aren’t saying the are but they don’t even have the legal authority to do so with out requesting a court order and having that authority voted on by the conference members.

So you think LSU has a national following like ND. Come on man.
I don't recall ND being in many if any Top 10 viewership lists over the years, maybe they were, but they definitely weren't the amount of times LSU was
And we already know they are well behind in local attendance

Two things can be true. LSU football is consistently ranked as one of the most valuable programs in the sport. It would also be difficult to transition to independent status and thrive.
We bring a lot of value to the SEC, but they also bring us a lot of value. It doesn't benefit either side if LSU gets kicked out.

Maybe my reading comprehension sucks because it sounds to me like he says they are going to vote to expel LSU but they just can't decide on when they want it to take effect but hey I've been telling everybody on the sports for 2 weeks that this is what was going to happen and nobody wants to listen to me and here we are just a couple days from a vote where there's literally a federal lawsuit against us and people still think this is all posturing it's absolutely absurd

Dellinger just admitted the expulsion threat is unserious
I read the tweet you quoted 5 times and at no point did I draw this conclusion.

His point is that there’s “discussion” around one of the 2-3 biggest games of this season potentially not being played. Which is ridiculous.

Then go educate yourself about how the Television industry works.

$1.5 billion and the 6th most viewed team in ratings…
If it’s so lucrative to do so, why are the top 5 in this list not independent already? Even Notre Dame is seeking the shelter of conference affiliation as a partial member of the ACC for scheduling purposes.
You think ESPN wants to negotiate one-off contracts with schools? Seriously?

If the expulsion is immediate, says one, “the LSU-Ole Miss game would be a non-conference game if it is still played.”
So they would put Pete and OM in the cuck chair while Lane goes in dry?

ND lore isn’t nearly as effective today as it was 30 years ago

LSU is a small market but the brand is not. It's 6th in viewership in the entire country and #2 in average ratings the past two decades for the SEC. They would be insane to eject LSU. I don't think B10 would let LSU in but it wouldn't be crazy for them amend some of their requirements like they did for Nebraska to kneecap the SEC. Independent is very unlikely to be as good as ND.

Dellenger should be banned from Louisiana

That's all well and good, but on top of all of the costs associated with expelling LSU (both during and AFTER), the SEC and Miami will have to write a check to the ACC for Miami leaving. Current price tag is $147M and decreasing by $18M every year.
Not saying the SEC doesn't have options, but they have just as much, if not more to lose, than LSU if this were to become a reality.

If I'm LSU, I become an independent and lock up the biggest TV contract in history and schedule cupcakes like ND and walk to the playoff every year.
LSU doesn't have the degree of national brand recognition as ND. And LSU would lose a lot of its appeal by not having regular games against SEC foes.
That said, I'm sure the Big 10 would maybe have a little interest of expanding its footprint into the South. As of now, it is a coast to coast conference. The only area it hasn't expanded is the south. Getting into that market could be appealing. Particularly if it could provide some in-roads into Texas...which hasn't been in the SEC long enough to establish deep roots. Texas is open to the highest bidder.
The SEC is the Big 10's only competition. There are no midwestern powers the SEC can/would realistically go poach. But if the SEC were to open the gate to allow the Big 10 in I don't think the Big 10 would have any qualms about walking through.

It’s so obvious that Stankey is using Dellinger as his threat mouthpiece. No one is taking this shite seriously. And if those mouth breathers actually did this the endless lawsuits from LSU, coaches, and players would sink. The conference.
Stankey is a thin-skinned unserious bitch.

Let’s See, just in the 2000’s, LSU has had 2 Heisman Trophy winners, 3 National Championships in Football, 4 in Baseball, one in Women’s Basketball, one in Golf, one in Gymnastics, 6 in women’s track and 4 in Men’s track.

I don't know what you mean?
The "IF" is "IF" LSU gets kicked out the SEC, does the game get played.
Why does that make it "unserious"?
