LSU would then be an independent and would have TV contracts lined up (similar to Notre Dame) etc.,
Negative.
ESPN's contracts are with the conferences. Not the schools. Therein lies the rub.

The expulsion threat to me seems (poorly) calculated to get LSU to seek to legally stop the Thursday meeting in order to strengthen the SEC’s position in its lawsuit.

I don't need a tweet to know it's a bluff. Neither should you.

Ole Miss is so scared it’s actually comical

They won't admit it out loud, but they SHOULD be scared. They saw what we saw, in both games. They can spin it that Louisville is a great team (we all know they aren't), but they know an arse whipping is coming, and it is likely going to be a big one. Dabo saw first hand what we saw. People got mad at him last year for saying basically that was tow bad teams. He was correct. This year he says that may be the best team in the country. He knows, we know, and the talking heads know.

I'm fairly certain that the SEC doesn't want Kiffin and the talent and resources at LSU, combined. You get what you saw Saturday night.

If it is still played? That comment alone shows expulsion is not on the table.

You are projecting a little too hard.

Assuming they did vote for expel, the timeline is entirely up for later vote. It can be immediate, it can be end of season, it can be 2,3,4,5 years from now.

In no what does that phrasing indicate it’s totally off the table.

The LSU brand is one of the most recognized brands in sports at this time. Notre Dame?! LOL. Irrelevant for the last 20 years . WTF have they won in anything? Did they have a joe burrow, Jayden Daniels, Paul skenes, NC in football & baseball. One of the top women’s basketball coaches of all time. It isn’t even close. Not to mention skip bertman and once will Wade gets settled in…….

what a stupid fricking comment

Coming from you, this is hilarious. Consistently an uneducated pussy. However, LSU will never get national ratings like Notre Dame without the conference games. Neither would Florida, Alabama, or Tennessee

As usual, you’re a pussy and have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s ok. I know you’re uneducated and broke.

Yeah so SEC would have to pay ESPN the buyout or penalties etc and LSU would do whatever they please

you don’t know anything about me. I’m neither of those. All those downvotes on page 1 really got to you didn’t they? I figured at this age, you’d be used to being shoved in a locker, my little edgelord buddy.

This whole thing is a threat to LSU to toe the line and bend the knee.

It's a "If you add these 2 former pro players, we will evict you".

It's absurd.

Sankey deserves firing for this.
The question is whether LSU goes after it for gross negligence or toes the line because the pressure is ramped up.
LSU likely has a serious case for loss of branding due to the mudslinging.
