If tweet fails to load, click here. If it is still played? That comment alone shows expulsion is not on the table. They have something else in mind.

ESPN has contractual rights to LSU (because they are in the SEC). If SEC votes LSU out of SEC, ESPN will have something to say overall potential revenue loss.
LSU would then be an independent and would have TV contracts lined up (similar to Notre Dame) etc.,
This really isn't as bad as I thought it would be for LSU.
If I'm LSU, I become an independent and lock up the biggest TV contract in history and schedule cupcakes like ND and walk to the playoff every year.

This is such a joke.
We just pistol whipped Clemson and now we're talking about OM possibly getting out of having a conference loss? This is fishy as frick.

ESPN would sue the shite out of the SEC if they expelled us. LSU is a massive part of the TV deal.

Dellenger is a snake. He's playing off of his long time Baton Rouge/LSU ties to feign credibility. "Oh,this guy knows people. He's really an LSU guy so he knows what he's talking about." I'm sure its literally "paying off" for him, but he's a weasel, too.

I’m not doubting you, but can you explain how this tweet is an admission of the threat being on serious? I’m not following.

I think you overestimate the value of LSU’s brand

Can't wait for the Dellenger Sankey texts to be made public in discovery phase of this lawsuit.

You think the NCAA would treat LSU like it does Notre Dame?

I’m not sure the delta in viewership if Miami replaces LSU.
Posted on 9/8/26 at 1:23 pm to bstaceyau19
They can’t make them non conference games. You need contracts in place for those
Posted on 9/8/26 at 1:23 pm to bstaceyau19
Why is Ross such an anti-LSU fig now?

If there were ever an attempt to hit 100 points, it’s going to be next week.

So you think LSU has a national following like ND.

Sounds like the SEC is trying to preserve what little relevance the last place has as long as possible

The title thread and OP don’t align. How is this tweet supporting the thread name?
