I think we can all agree that Longstreet is the clear #2. Clark can't hit the broadside of a barn. Longstreet was the #4 QB in the country for a reason. There is a clear difference between the two. Longstreet can throw and run and throw on the run. Clark struggles hitting slant routes.

He had that look for me also but he wasn't really challenged in that setting against McNeese.

It's not that clear. Clark is clearly the number 2. He brings more energy and excitement to the offense and puts more pressure on the defense. THAT'S what I'm seeing.

I'll say this, should Sam go pro after this year, I think we have a solid duo next year.

What I really want to see is Longstreet run more. I feel like it was clear coming in that he was the fastest QB out of the bunch. I want that uber fast QB for Lane to use!

All I know is Nuss isn’t back there throwing into triple coverage and that makes me happy. All three of these quarterbacks can run too.

Clark was barely 50% as a starter last year. We just need his feet.

So horrible inaccuracy on any type of pass is the clear #2 over mostly accurately thrown passes? Wow that’s definitely a choice.

Also Longstreet can beat you with his legs as well

Dude can't even complete 50% of his passes against McNeese. Any decent defense will be able to take him out the game easily. He won't be putting any pressure on a halfway decent SEC defense because he can't throw for shite, which I'm told QBs should be able to do.

Clearly something was off. But that could be on the receivers just as well. It sure looked like the receivers could get separation or win contested balls. He does throw well on the move.

Both are inaccurate and had all spring and summer practices to get more reps and they still aren't. I'm not sold on either one of them as a starter Clark probably brings the most versatility on those goal line plays I wouldn't expect him to be a good passer. Longstreet has more potential but until he becomes accurate with the football that's all it is ...potential.

Exactly. If you can't hit open receivers against McNeese, you damn sure aren't hitting them against SEC opponents. Longstreet is actually faster and a better passer. Clark brings energy, but that doesn't mean chit against Bama, Texas, etc.

Its not very clear to the head coach, who is an offensive savant. So im not sure how it could be so clear to the fans

56%

It’s obvious that they have had a Red zone package for Clark from the beginning. He’s electric, fast and powerful. Once again, our staff putting players on the field that can help us win.

Longstreet has all the tools and is being developed as the next QB. We can be in for something special if it all works out. We could possibly see Leavitt for 2 yrs, Longstreet 2 yrs, and Pops 2 years.

We would be a well run machine if it works out. Kiffin is trying to win games right now. The real prize is the future where the championships will be had.

clark has a nice arm and tons of potential. he had 2 TD passes dropped last week. deadly in RZ on PA rollouts high low concepts and those qb sweeps.

he will be fine. most those passes he is not missing by much. it will get fixed. just like sam looked bad against OM/ now he looks much better.

our QB room has not been this loaded since 2003.

Clark is a running QB & will improve as a passer

He did throw for 2300 yds last year at Elon (56% comp)

Doesn't sound like anyone is in agreement with you.

Clark is #2 because he's the most easy to slide in to replace Leavitt from a skillset perspective. Otherwise you get the Les Miles and Brian Kelly days where you recruit two completely different QB's like Jefferson and Lee or Nuss and MVB and have to completely change the offense when one gets hurt.
