So, you have a QB that is dynamic enough to be a punt returner with a rocket arm; his ceiling is likely higher

I just saw CLK on Open Mic on the SEC channel, and he said one of his areas of disappointment was that QB3 and QB4 weren't ready to go into the game when called upon and that was unacceptable (his words).

56%

that is NOT barely 50%

another ranter spewing false narratives that he reads on his facebook feed.

56% at Elon is terrible.

What's it like to be so sure of yourself that you write "I think we can all agree" and then get downvoted into oblivion?

Receivers dropped a few that were put right into their hands. Do you think maybe he threw too hard, or possibly put too much spin on the ball for them to hang on?

What I immediately thought while reading the OP's comments was that "This guy has got to be trolling"!?!

All I know is that there is, and has been, some strange, undeserved prejudice against Landen Clark ever since he took his first snaps against Clemson. The guy has looked great to me.

The way Clark moves is very fluent, natural. His eyes/vision and "feel" for the game, team/defense & current play is an innate gift. He just naturally can feel the flow of how the play is progressing, moving......and the effect it is & will have on his opportunities/choices as the field either opens or closes.

Clark could successfully run on just about any/every play; but opposite of Leavitt, he natural instinct is to throw first. And since he is so comfortable and fluent at moving, he always has the time to then "automatically" go through his progressions, check downs and find open receivers down field. Which is precisely what he did on 2 picture perfect touchdown tosses to Watkins....who dropped them both. When comparing, considering everything......Clark has been the more accurate QB!

You're getting a lot of downvotes, but I don't think you're completely wrong here. Clark is just the fan favorite right now, everyone wants the repeat Chambliss story. The reality is, Longstreet is far more talented and will eventually show, but if LK has Clark as his #2 then is is probably better fitted for that role for the time being.

We’ve seen Longstreet once against McNeese and “he’s the clear #2”

Clark has looked great every time he has appeared, even against SEC teams except for one game and now he’s trash.. Haha

I guess if we were all unreasonable and driven by emotion, we could. But some of us require evidence.

Multiple drive killing drops with Clark in. If he’s 9 or 10 for 16 with another 15-20 more yards at minimum nobody is talking about this. Typical ranter silliness.

Last week Kamario Taylor was the greatest thing since sliced bread but let one of our QBs have a 3 turnover game and he’s the worst player anybody’s ever seen. That’s Rant QB evaluation in a nutshell, every throw takes you from Joe Burrow to Anthony Jennings around here.

what a stupid fricking statement.

what does elon have to do with it?

have you watched all the film?

did he have time always?
were there any drops?
wrong routes run?
maybe great defensive coverage against good throws?

how many deep, intermediate and short throws....you know low % to high %

all those factors make a hell of a difference.

i guess burrow at 57% had you think he was dogshit if that is all he coiuld do at LSU in 2018 huh?

you are clueless
