I actually wonder about the Easter/ date change thing myself. The vernal equinox and autumnal equinox are set dates, correct? With that being the case and the date of Easter dependent on that date, and Mardi Gras dependent on those daes, hy are all those dates not set?

The worst example of this was Ben Wilkerson getting hurt on the final play of the game in a 24-7 win against Vanderbilt in 2002. It cost Ben an NFL career. It was a do nothing play. QB could've taken a knee. But Saban ran a play and Ben loses a career.
