re: Clark and Longstreet

Clearly something was off. But that could be on the receivers just as well. It sure looked like the receivers could get separation or win contested balls. He does throw well on the move.

re: Whit Weeks Surgery Successful - Report

I watched the replay today (I like hearing the commentary since I go to the games). Whit played another down after he got injured. He’s on another level football competitive. He could have done a Caleb Williams but walked himself off the field and to the locker room. He’s a dude!

re: Cart girl - tip for free ice or no?
Posted by USAFLSUVet on 6/8/26 at 7:07 pm to TDsngumbo
Yes. Because you should have been tipping her on the drink you would have paid for instead of the drink you brought on the course (likely against the course rules). I do this, so no shade thrown.
re: Little Rock and Coastal made the tourney - embarassing

We had a C team that brought their C game to an A League (SEC). It’s where the big boys want to play. Those other teams have a B team playing their A game in a C league. They’ll never make it far consistently. LSU wants players that want to play in the SEC. To be the best you have to play the best. When we have a team like we did this year just a little off we’ll get our rear ends handed to us and we did. I prefer playing in the SEC.

Catcher’s interference is the primary call that should have been made.

Finua is 100% Ping. But the 3 TM guys are big time.

re: This is easily Jay Johnson's worst coaching job in his tenure
Posted by USAFLSUVet on 4/24/26 at 6:58 pm to Bodie
Maybe so. Because he allows Coach Y to call the dumbest 0-2 and 1-2 pitches over and over and over. I’d rather a wheel spin than what he calls.
re: Never in my life have I seen catchers not be able to catch strikes
Posted by USAFLSUVet on 4/10/26 at 7:01 pm to Covingtontiger77
The announcer had it right. They spend way too much time framing and not catching the ball. They frame aggressively which actually makes the umpire ignore the framing. Almost every game.

re: 11 pitches thrown and 1 97 mph fast ball

Ridiculous amount of pitches over the middle on 0-1, 0-2, and 1-2 counts this series, and overall.
re: Guidry with the L

Some of this has to be on the pitch call. Gave up a hits on 1-2 and 0-1 counts on fast balls. Just throw anything else!
re: Saints sign Cade York, Grupe to be released
Posted by USAFLSUVet on 11/25/25 at 1:19 pm to paulb52
That means he was good enough to be on 6 teams, even if he didn’t last. Compared to the guy who shouldn’t have been on 1 team. At least York can miss wide left or right from 65 and still get it there.
re: Blake Baker Haters, Turn Away Now
Posted by USAFLSUVet on 11/24/25 at 4:36 pm to jcole4lsu
#40 being out for some of the most important games of the season hurt a lot. As well, the 3 and out no redzone offense didn’t help Baker.

Our GM will try to trade up from #1 for an OT or hidden talent DE

There are many good courses in Mesquite which you’ll drive through before leaving NV. If price isn’t a factor Wolf Creek is #1. Then Conestoga, either of the Oasis Courses, Falcon Ridge, Palms, and Casablanca in that order.
re: I hope Notre Dame wins a natty

I think NIL as is, Kelly would have never left ND. ND with this NIL is in a better place than 3 years ago. Without NIL ND would NEVER have won a natty. And they still probably won’t.

Tackling works almost every time. Hitting works a lot less. We like to hit.
re: Should Saints draft Diego Pavia QB Vanderbilt?

Add something like Hill type of player. Your OP implies as an NFL QB which is zero chance.
