How much longer than five minutes does it take to say I love you guys and I wish I could’ve done a better job for you?

There is something about people north of Richmond, Virginia on the eastcoast. Arrogant know-it-all yankees!

If my favorite football team wasn’t located in BR, I wouldn’t step foot there again either

You ever been fired? Last thing you want to do is stay around and talk.

He showed up and told the team goodbye and left. What’s the problem with that? He isn’t our coach no more you don’t have to be upset by every action he makes now

I’m not sure what the proper standard amount of acceptable minutes is for addressing a team you’ve just been relieved of coaching any longer.

Just hearing “Five minutes” doesn’t sound like much but you can actually say quite a bit in a five minute time span.

At least it wasn’t a quickly jotted Dear John note like Petrino left the Falcons players a few years back.

But, by the time a coach is fired for not doing a good job, pretty much every single thing that individual does sucks worse than has ever been done in the history of humans, lol.

Just comes with the territory in big-time college football.

To answer two question

"What is he supposed to do?" Say several individual goodbyes to players hes built personal relationships with. Guess he has none.

"Hes pissed" OK, why??? He FAILED and got PAID for doing so. He should be laughing manically on his way to his temp home.

Yeah I'm not sure what people want from the guy at this point. He got canned and it's up to the players to finish the season.

Was he supposed to share hugs and kisses or sign autographs?

People like bitching. If he talked for an hour they'd complain that he was wasting the players time.

What did you want? A sob story for 20 mins? Move the fcuk on
I mean it might take more than 5 minutes to shake each player's hand, be personable and share some words of encouragement.

I don’t have a problem with this. Say things did not go the way we had planned, wish the players the best of luck and leave… it’s pretty simple. He will end up somewhere if he wants to continue….
