I know how the off sets work. As far as “looking” for a job, millions of people on unemployment “look” for jobs everyday. He could easily say he has decided to retire from coaching and LSU has to pay it all.
I agree with the first part, but disagree about it having to be Kiffin.
He also had one the same year on a punt return. Now it’s a penalty for blindside block.
Agree 100%! Saban grew to be elite, Dabo Sweeney grew to be elite, etc…
That’s the problem, y’all get caught up in this “elite” crap. He doesn’ t have to be “elite” to be successful. Look how many coaches that are offensive/defensive geniuses fail over and over. He just has to be an elite coach!!

Whatever, I get it, a lot of people don’t like Nuss, but it doesn’t have to cloud your rational thinking. No one with a brain would burned their redshirt for that game.
And it doesn’t have to be a Kiffin type either. Look at A&M. That’s the type of coach we need. Sumrall, Keys, etc…
If someone owed you $54 million, would you take less? The answer is no.

So what? He left his team high and dry in an “important game”.
I can’t understand why he would take less.

He decided not to burn an entire season of eligibility for a meaning less game with hardly any players. You and I would have done the same thing. You can deny it, but him deciding to redshirt was the right thing.
Dude threw for 4000 yards last year, entire team sucks this year and he’s a bad QB? Some of y’all are just delusional.
FCS or FBS has nothing to do with being the president of a school.
i posted this over the weekend. Also got 1 downvote. Probably the same person. LOL

Saban takes the HC job.
Brings Jimbo as OC and Muschamp as DC.
The band gets back together for a last run. LOL!
LSU "fan base" does not have patience to grow a team like those guys did.
