I don't know, for a fact, but I assume current players and recruits are hearing the same generic line: "We're talking with several coaches. We will get a really good coach." That is fact. And, that is the way it should be. No need to share specifics with them. When the hire is made, the outreach will intensify.

ETA: The bigger question for me is whether any of the guys are giving unsolicited feedback, such as "I hope it's not Vitello".

I'm thinking O'Connor. Solid coach with background with Manieri. Manieri's comments on him not being interested were to prevent questions from distracting his friend's team (Virginia) while they are still playing.

Would prefer O'Connor but nothing indicating he is interested. Godwin has interviewed per GG and he definitely fits the bill.
