Yep. Daniels is far too dynamic and will quickly grasp the playbook. Brennan will still be shaking off the rust.

Don’t count Brennan out.. I would not be surprised at all if he’s the starter game 1 and balls out next year.

There are tons of "true blue LSU" kids that are just not quite good enough to play at LSU.... maybe Myles falls in to that category, we will see after/during Spring

I would think Brennan only hits the portal again if it looks like after spring Daniels has the lead for the job.
He cant really wait till fall practice to transfer being it's his last year

This stinks for Brennan.
But BK has to field the best fb team with the best QB he can.

A 3 year starter at another power conf. school doesn't transfer to a school without some degree of assurances he will start next season. Otherwise, he would have gone elsewhere (I'm sure LSU wasn't the only school "recruiting" him). Perhaps it lights a fire under Brennan and he shows he is clearly the best QB of the 4 in spring ball. But just like LSU did not get Burrow simply for "depth". I don't think they went out and signed Dainels for "depth" either.
FTR, I'm not "pulling" for any one guy. Just play the guy that gives you the best chance to win.

This is the off-season! Until proven otherwise, Brennan is the next Burrow. He is backed up by Russell Wilson and there’s a freshman on the roster who is exactly like Drew Brees with better arm strength.

Neither Brennan, nor Daniels can sit the bench at this stage of their career - or really even risk the possibility of sitting the bench.
I doubt Kelly names a starter after spring, but if it appears Brennan is not the guy, he will be gone for sure. He would excel in a G5 pass-happy offense.

If MB transfers itll have to be after spring yea?
Will he also HAVE to go to an FCS level program that late in the year? Where his skills are just that much better than the other potential QBs?

Spot on. Daniels has a year of eligibility left but I don’t expect him to be a five year college starter. I expect he wants to start and then give professional football a shot.

The question is does Myles still have the passion for football and is he working to get in football shape.
He is about to get married and it seems like he would rather be outdoors hunting and fishing than football.
We will see come camp time.
