Pistol Pete is number 1 on the list, period. CJ can be 1 in the era when freshmen could play on the varsity.

Livingston couldn’t shoot a lick. Maurice carter shot it well

Was unreal at times.
The UNC game in NCAAs MT almost single handedly carried us over the top seed. Yes he could drain consistently with a hand in his face.

Over 35% from 3 during his career from NBA range on 1 leg proves he could shoot “a lick”.

I have to agree with you. He led the SEC in scoring in back to back seasons (21.8 and 23.3ppg), that isn’t pedestrian averages for the SEC scoring leader. 23.3 is 12th alltime in the modern SEC single season and his career 20.3 is 6th among modern SEC players alltime, (post 3pt line 1986 per sports reference.com). I think the reason fans tend to undervalue Henderson is because he didn’t play in the NBA but that was because of injury, not a talent issue. He was drafted but his body never came back enough to get out of the foreign circuit.
Also because he was one of the main knuckleheads to blow a 31 point second half lead to Kentucky, no?

Randy Livingston couldn’t pitch it in the ocean if he was standing in it. Oh, Marcus Thornton says hi. He needs to be at least in the top ten.
There’s Pete Maravich and Chris Jackson and then all the rest.

You’re putting that loss on Henderson? Lmao he scored 36 points on 12-19 from the field, 4-4 from the line and 8-13 from 3. He had 1 turnover in that game but yea his fault..... wow

The as that really Marcus Thornton the other day?
It didnt look like him at all.
Marcus Thornton would not hesitate to shoot
He reminded me of nba jam, "he's on fire"

If we are talking freshmen only, its got to be chris jackson and cam thomas, and i know how ridiculous it sounds

Difference between a shooter and a scorer. CJ in a world by himself. With Pistol of course. Ronnie and Darrel were great shooters. Marcus Thornton was more of a scorer. I look at Cam that way also. Can do it inside with their physicality and outside with their touch. I will say that other than CJ, Cam will work to get his shot if he's feeling it and has no conscience. He must have the green light from Wade because he does some things that would get most freshman some bench time but you know he's going to get going and when he's feeling it he is practically ungaurdable due to his ability to go to the goal.

Tremont should be in third place. He was a phenomenon!!

Chris Jackson is the only LSU player I've ever seen that when the ball left his hands from anywhere on the court, I said, "Yeah, that's probably going in".
It was a pleasure watching him play.

Cam looks like he’s gonna be a Ronnie Henderson/Marcus Thornton level scorer. I think he’s got possibly more upside,
I would agree with this statement. I think he's got a bit more of a drive game than those two, and he's got a mid-range floater I don't remember either of them having.
I've been very impressed with him so far. I know he was a 5-start but he actually exceeded my expectations because I've see a few 5-stars here (Lester Earl and Regis Kounja to name two) who were not, so I always start of a bit skeptical. This kid is the real deal.

He was 12-19 from the field and 8-13 from 3. He was hoisting and making em. I saw the game too, who didn’t? Turnovers lost the game but Henderson only had 1.

I was very surprised he didn’t stick around longer in the NBA.
