the players and the fans reaction was unreal.

That stood out to me as well. The players on the court as well as the bench all celebrated like they were the ones doing the dunking and the fans fed off of the entire moment.

Even though this wasnt in the PMAC - it's an all-timer

Ronnie Henderson 1994 vs Arkansas.

He could have dunked on a 12 foot goal. I’ll never forget watching that on a Wednesday night.

Here's the one against Arizona. As far as crowd excitement, I think this one takes the cake bc they were top 5 I believe. I was at that game and just remember losing my mind. Shaq had something to prove that game.

That highlight video is just incredible. What a wild scene.

Jarrell Martin between the legs against UF.

I was sitting free throw line 5th row. It was badass. against UF in the 1st half of a close game makes it even sweeter

Shaq against Arizona...it was a fast break and he was running full speed...it was a missed jumper and he took off prob 12 feet from basket getting rebound and and one hand windmill slam

Was coming to post the same thing.

I went to probably every home game when Shaq was there and that's the only one I really remember.

The 1st time he did it was even better. He dribbled the length of the floor and then did it. The second time against Arizona, he got the past around the 3pt line took a dribble and then fake behind the back pass/dunk.

The dunk in the clip were he posterized some guy and then gives the “it’s over” hand motion was pretty great too (Oh and Stro goes nuts also on this one too )

It wasn't at the PMAC, but it was when they were blowing out either Arkansas in the 1981 sweet 16 game or when they were blowing out Wichita State in the elite 8 game at the dome. The fans started yelling showtime, showtime, and Ethan Martin put up a alley-oop and I can't remember who slammed it home, but the Superdome went crazy.

I'll never forget this Arkansas fan. LSU was killing them, and this lady Arkansas fan during a quiet moment said in a loud Arkansas drawl. LSUUUU number twoooo. Everyone just looked at her and started cracking up. Best 2 games I ever attended.

A few of the Dwayne Scales jams from the late 70s/early 80's.

Was wondering how long it would take for Marlon Taylor to be mentioned. Maybe some recency bias but he is one of my favorite dunkers.

1985 home game against Kentucky. Last game of the season

After the tipoff Derek Taylor to John Williams for alley oop dunk. Place went nuts. Kentucky did not score for the first 11 minutes. PMAC was as loud as I ever heard it for an extended period of time

Everyone I was with lost our voices. LSU won a close one.

I came to post exactly this. Also, Chris Jackson being only 6 feet tall made his dunks that much more impressive. He looked like he had springs in his shoes.

The thing I remember about the Jarrell Martini dunk was that it was a Saturday afternoon and I was watching the game on television in Washington DC while a blizzard was going on outside.

I haven’t been to verymany basketball games over the years.

But in the 78-79 season, high leaping guard Al Green had an impressive break away dunk after a turnover.
