Miami, the defending national champions, had trouble finishing out games in 1984 with QB Bernie Kosar. That collapse vs Maryland. Then the next week Doug Flutie and Boston College shocked them on the last play with a picture-perfect Hail Mary. And finally that team choked late in the Fiesta Bowl vs UCLA.

2001 Sugar Bowl: Miami vs Florida was fun. Miami had Najeh Davenport, Clinton Portis, Jeremy Shockey, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Dan Morgan, Ed Reed, Jonathan Vilma.
Willie McGahee and Andre Johnson were freshmen and didn’t play.
Miami won 37-20

Never been so pumped for a non-LSU win in my life. This gets my vote as well.
Especially because Saban was wanting that 1 sec on the clock to try the kick instead of going into OT. Gary and Verne wanted that 1 sec too

Went with my Jr High football team in 1990 to the Houston Astrodome to see Houston play TCU. It was 100% offense and so crazy fun to watch. David Klingler, Chuck Weatherspoon, Hal Mumme, Mike Leach.. who knew? Pure joy on a 14 yr old's face. I think it was my 3rd college football game ever and didn't know anything about either team except that it was fun.

Yep this is the one. My Alabama hatred at that time had me celebrating like I was an Auburn Alum

On September 25, 1999, East Carolina University (ECU) upset the No. 9 Miami Hurricanes 27-23 at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh. The game was relocated from Greenville, NC, because Hurricane Floyd left much of the ECU campus and surrounding area underwater

^that's me holding that goalpost.
Second time that we tore down NCSTATES goalposts.
ECU did it in the 80s when they won there.

#1 was Saints NFC championship game.
#1A was a UNC vs Duke basketball game at UNC.
March 6, 2005.In a classic Senior Night thriller at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina defeated Duke 75-73. The Tar Heels trailed by nine points late in the second half but mounted a massive comeback. The game famously ended with Raymond Felton tapping out his own missed free throw to Marvin Williams, who converted a dramatic and-one layup to take the lead. J.J. Redick's potential game-winning three-pointer missed at the buzzer, securing the ACC regular-season title for Rashad McCants and the Tar Heels

Went to Miami-ole miss in the fiesta for the semi last year. We all rocked LSU gear and rooted hard for the canes. It was awesome to see the Rebs go down in person. They were not pleased with us
