I don't know if it's my imagination but it feels like when I'm at away games this year the home fans are more hostile than they have been

Even after the fact I think they were just coping about losing their coach rather than having some unique insight into how he'd do at LSU

This is the only LSU team I ever really remember watching that regressed. We were not this bad in the opening weeks.

Some of it is just how much they care though — I didn’t see much fight in the first half and it took a few screw jobs before it looked like we were in the game tonight. Should’ve been able to walk away with a W

That said I can't hate the job the current coach is doing this year. Waiting to see how the season plays out. Enthusiasm isn't very high because results haven't been very good and even in these better wins the team flat out hasn't been as much fun to watch, which is always a factor in this too.

Just keep winning and people will come around if it's meant to be.
