You’re gonna enjoy the Hell out of it when LSU wins its first Lane title and Ole Miss fans go nuclear
It sucked but the reason it isn’t worth getting antsy over is because we’re gonna be pretty good at all three sports next season

You obviously don’t listen to his daily radio show and even worse, his LSU football postgame shows after he’s been drinking all night. Buttoned up professional Moscona is good, arrogant shock jock Moscona is insufferable.

You’re right, I don’t, and I actually can totally see this even with how he comes off on his polished presentations. Makes sense

The Moscona hate on this board is ridiculous.

I only started watching him to follow the Lane Kiffin coaching search saga and never understood what the board’s beef with him is. Could be older content. He comes off as way more rational than the other Locked On podcasts that auto play live after I listen to him in the morning, out of the ACC especially

LSU has the potential to do the funniest thing

Not lose another game this year and win it all

Then I woke up lol
A little bit. He’s earned a shite season, even one this bad, but and I still have faith he’ll fix things. But it was a shockingly bad year still. If he pulls an Ed O and follows it up with another season like this he’ll deserve the hot seat. Right now he’s fine and I trust him to do his thing

To the people who point out his SEC record — the SEC is the hardest it’s ever been, and the man has hardware. Also it’s baseball. You aren’t going to win every game no matter how good you are

It’s just not our year. Hard to melt about it, I still trust Jay to get it together for next year. Is what it is
Ole Miss:
> Wouldn't let him coach his team in the post-season even though he wanted to, because they were afraid he would tamper
> Accused him of tampering after not coaching said team
> Were gracious hosts after 6 years of service by throwing his clothes onto the street

LSU:
> let Ole Miss use their newly signed coaches until the last possible second

Lane:
> took a new job
> doesn't have the gift of gab to pacify people when half of the SEC hated him before the drama even began

did i miss anything? If I were an Ole Miss fan I'd be pissed too but I'd be embarrassed to paint him as a super villain instead of just being upset he left us (and I know this because like, Nick Saban.)
brother Marcel this forum only knows one thing — bait LSU fans and pretend they’re taking the bait. X’s and O’s might as well be Greek. Try “Chips are down, will Lane Kiffin get fired for screwing a co-ed by Year 2?” and you’ll have a more successful thread

re: Clemson game ticket situation.

I'm interested to see how Clemson fans feel about this one. A large visiting crowd can put upward pressure on ticket prices. I have no idea how well they travel or how they feel about Dabo and this year's team, but many might view this as a once-in-a-lifetime away game trip.

A lot of the Clemson fans I was talking to at tailgates last season have it circled. That was before we all found out they aren’t that good right now, but they are going to travel en masse just to see our stadium.
I don’t watch WBB but there appear to only be five or so teams that are any good so you had ok odds of getting that one right

This is not the way I want LSU to be perceived. It kind of makes me sick that college sports has come to this. And on top of all the money we are spending, people now want to fire Beth Torina. Where does it stop? Down vote away.

You’re upset that we have upper echelon coaches with prior D1 experience?

???
I really hope so. Wade is probably the best coach we can get right now and he has a lot of upside to grow into an even better coach. Worst case scenario he stabilizes us again

Let’s ride
quote:

What I cannot comprehend are the rumors that this has become a binary decision, i.e. we only move on from McMahon, if Wade is willing to come.

It’s because the athletic department only cares about keeping basketball relevant enough to make a small profit, and a lot of our fans think Will Wade is the only coach we can replace McMahon with that will get them excited

We have new leadership who might invest more in next year’s cycle, but I do think this year with the financial obligations it’ll take to get a new coach in place, it’ll be one the other. It’s not that Wade is cheaper, it’s just that Wade excites LSU fans
This kind of reads to me like they’re tightening the noose to let him go next year. Probably just one more year of suffering, last ditch effort for him to prove himself

walnut sauce

whoa there slow down I didn’t claim to have sauces
LSU was not on the field tonight y'all are being weird about this
Yeah we just need a new coach. I'm not in that "it has to be Will Wade" camp, we just need some kind of change. There's something wrong at the top when we spend like this and can't beat Mississippi State and Georgia on down years (or even keep it competitive with Georgia)
