I agree but for a different reason. Officiating is atrocious. We were getting bumped hard every time we went inside, refs ignore the obvious foul. Another thing they refuse to call is the big women inside lowering the shoulder and pushing the defender off. For me, the poor quality of officiating makes it hard to watch.

What type of barricades did they have in place? The lightweight plastic sawhorse type that just let drivers the road is closed to vehicular traffic but don't stop anyone or the concrete barriers that you see in road construction areas that actually protect the workers. If the former then they are complete idiots, especially after the attack in Germany. Not hardening the streets is inexcusable and calls for a through investigation to root out those responsible.

We haven’t been able to do that in 30 years. Almost no team can. In today’s game, if a team wants to shut down your running game they will, except towards the end if they are tired.
Nicholls State didn't seem to have a problem blowing our guys off the line of scrimmage. I commented during the game that they were pushing us back 2 yards on short yardage situations.
