Agree. And many will assume no news is bad news and that this coaching search is a complete cluster. Woodward is smart. He won't tell some of these jug heads on the BOS who will run their mouths.

Board members are always “asked” their opinions as a courtesy. So yes, people will know before it happens.

Thank God for an AD with the common sense to know that this rant board means nothing and actually runs his job like the business it truly is. People on here need to get a job and go to friggin work unloading containers to get the supply chain back in sync to help pay my social security retirement.

I'm reading and hearing a lot about Woodward being some kind of clairvoyant oracle who knows all and can see into the future while operating in total secrecy.

I certainly hope this is true. It seems leaky AD's might be done intentionally to gage the fan base.
That seems to make the the eventual new hire sort of mixed in the fans eyes because everyone has an opinion and bashed the HC's that may have been leaked.
I liked the way the hiring of the baseball coach went. I hope that goes that way and I hope the boosters and money people that feel like they need to know are locked out. I don't want this to end up being a Texas Longhorn situation of recent years.

1000% agree. Publicly throw full support behind O and try to maintain some stability, but privately and secretly start negotiating with agents.
