I think many of us knew it wasn't "done" . Just "insiders" that want to post info to get ahead of the story. I get it, but I just prefer the actual details instead of assumptions. And they will say it's fluid. And people will get mad which is wrong to do because this situation is fluid. We don't know what anyone will do/is doing behind the scenes.

I can respect that because I'm not either, but I'm a realist. I've watched Mizzou. The only thing I've been impressed with is their ability to recruit "diamond in the rough" type players. Have decent defenses at times. I sometimes question the offenses he's had and lack of consistency against better opponents. Happens every year with them.

Different time though. If the playoffs existed then, LSU would've either been in or competing for a spot. Problem was sustainability and well Bama.

Literally happened to then last year. Went all in and went 9-3. Hell Kelly even found that out himself. But that was mainly because he thought he was the smartest person in the room and let go essential staff key to recruiting the state. And had to pay more for them to get them back.

That's the truth. You can't just add games to the playoff and keep everything else the same. Don't understand why there wasn't enough foresight to anticipate possible issues.

True. You can't keep finishing in the portal for guys. May not always work out. Kelly learned that lesson in 2023 smdh among other things. Ugh wasted a championship offense with a historical garbage defense.

It could be, but why piss people off when you don't have to. Too much of a distraction instead of just focusing on the games.

Considering the amount of misinformation on message boards, I rather wait for something definitive to come out. Always been cautiously optimistic about the situation, but not oblivious to what could happen. The first time it happened was enough for me.

Florida is still in the mix too. They've been too quiet. Think they're going to match everything. At this point, it might come down to where he sees himself being. I think he wanted to be able to finish the season and then worry about the rest. He knew Ole Miss couldn't/wouldn't fire him so he used his leverage.
Also I believe Ole Miss has been making some moves as well anticipating this. All i can say is I hope Auburn has been doing their due diligence .
