Eh...I'm not counting it out, but I'm also not holding my breath for it. I don't think we'll really know who we are until Miss state

If Aranda returns to fix the defense and Devin White returns to fix the leadership, sure. Until then, not a chance in hell.

It’s really nauseating that we are discussing LSU and rallying for 7 wins in the same conversation. Inexcusable.

I’m not hopeful, but this team is going to put more overall talent on the field than most of the teams on its schedule. The coaching of course is our huge deficit - I see zero remaining games where LSU will have the coaching edge.

Good points RE: Aranda, piss poor OL, I can definitely see a 3-4 win season. I guess we’ll see.

7 or 8 wins still gets O fired so I'm cool with it

If he wins 8 he’s not going anywhere.

Absolutely not. Back in the vacuum of 2017... we had a good line. Also on the team:
Derrius Guice
Darrel Williams
DJ Chark
Devin White
Donte Jackson
Christian LaCouture
Kevin Toliver
Russel Gage
Jacob Philips
Glen Logan
Grant Delpit
Rashard Lawrence
Michael Divinity
Arden Key

Also had a fairly serviceable Danny Etling. That team was much more stacked than what we have now. We're not even close especially in the LB position. 2017 was mostly the team not being ready due to coaching. Same thing with the bowl game. We lost that because we didn't have a kicker worth a damn or a coach who had a pair to go for it. And of course the luck of the Irish.

We are nowhere near that level today. In fact, we look under sized and less experienced at nearly every position. Meanwhile the whole SEC has moved 2 steps towards getting better. Mississippi teams are not pushovers anymore with 2 great coaching changes. Arkansas now has a great coach as well. Florida choked last year but looks stronger this year and ready to prove something. Kentucky has a shitte ton of athletes. The backup A&M QB will be much better next game. They all have the desire to win. We seem to be pretty satisfied with just getting out on the field. Zero fight in this team. No dogs to lead the troops at all.

Miss State is the bell weather! We win then I can see 9 wins, but we lose and 6 wins maybe.

possibly, only due to strong defense and special teams...but it is hard to find 3-4 SEC wins right now with our offense the way it is...but I will not give up on the team...

If O let’s Peetz coach, I think Jake is too forward thinking to let this continue at this rate.

I am hopeful its 9 or 10. I still think the team just needs to get confidence and after 2 games I am not giving up hope.
