Arkansas will absolutely roll.

They may put up 500 rushing yards on us straight up the middle. I know this... neither of our lines can handle what they have.

Normally I would agree about maybe picking up Auburn or UF or A&M. I don't see us beating AU or UF. Maybe A&M if we can get them down to 3rd string qb who hasn't had any playing time during our game.

A 180 pound true freshman playing behind a dogshit oline is going to salvage the season for us?

This

QB play isn’t the problem.

LSU had a shite OL last year, they all returned and are complete shite this year.

Based on what I saw out of Nuss the other night, if you put him behind this o-line with this lack of running game in the SEC, it's going to be a whole lot of bailing out of the pocket trying to scramble or chucking it into tight coverages downfield and getting picked off.

I just don't think there's much salvaging this season. The collective parts aren't very good. If you're upset with Max's development and growth at QB, I really don't see how an undersized true freshman with even less experience us going to be the guy to bring it all together and make it functional. The problems go beyond who's taking snaps at QB.

Where are they?

CMU
ULM

There's 3 wins so we need to find 4-5 more.

Alabama is a certain loss

A&M and Florida are probable losses.

That's 3-4 so among State, Auburn, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Arkansas we need to go 4-1 or 5-0 to get to 7/8 wins.

I dont see it.

A&M beat Colorado 10-7, so they may not be the team you think they are. And Florida has been our surprise win for so many seasons that it is getting hard to call it a "surprise" anymore.

The last 5 you mention we could run the table or go 4-1 against.

If we show good improvement on offense and we don't have setbacks on the DL or secondary we should be a solid team.

The OL would have to drastically improve for that to happen.

For the record don’t mistake me as an O supporter as I’m 100% against his remaining head coach. He doesn’t have the ability to build a consistent program, especially at a top program.

Likewise I think LSU will and should be the dog in every SEC game on its schedule. But just like ‘16, ‘17 I can see a scenario where they win more than we think today. After Troy I didn’t see a 9-win season. Neither did many of you.

If they lose 4 or more games that would be a huge disappointment for this team. They have to good a team to be this bad.

Yes, as I sit here today 7 wins is a rally. And most in this thread think I’m insane to suggest 7 is even possible!

It seems like most fans on the Rant see the glass as half empty for the Tigers.

Last season, there were many predictions of a losing year after the substandard start, but they managed to compile a break even record.

Is this what LSU has fallen to rallying just to win 7-8 games? I mean yeah we could win with the talent but I just don't have the same feelings I did back then. Something is missing from this team?

We have reached a new low fellas

True, things aren't good right now- but this isn't a new low.

But it could be, compared the last 20+ years, if the team just stops playing for O.

No one really knows for sure. But we will.....
